At the conclusion of each and every program, Chrissy, Brian, and I like to share a positive news story. Not only does it help you conclude the show on a positive note, but it also has the potential to make you grin at the beginning of your day. This morning, I came across this little guy. I am always on the lookout for local news that is positive or anything else that makes me happy and I want to share it with others.
This video was released in 2008, but Johnny Cash’s song has stood the test of time, and this young man is outstanding. Concerns that I had when I was in the second grade were whether or not my buddies would be at home to play with after school and whether or not I would be able to strike the perfect chord with Cash. The fact that he is so little and the acoustic guitar is so big, yet he still manages to carry that song, both literally and metaphorically, is the aspect of all of this that I find most interesting.
