The seven-figure gift that Eva Longoria is giving to aid those who have been displaced as a result of the tragic wildfires in Los Angeles is being made with the assistance of a six-figure individual.

The Bezos Courage and Civility Award that the actress received is the source of the money that she is donating to assist victims of wildfires. The actress and her charity have committed a gift of one million dollars to aid natural disaster victims.

Eva was the recipient of the prize in March, and she has ten years to use the money toward humanitarian causes; hence, she is already putting the money to good use.

The gift that Eva has made is going to be given to the Latino Community Foundation, which is run by Julian Castro, as well as the California Community Foundation. The monies will be used to assist those who have lost everything in the fires that occurred in Los Angeles, both in the short term and in the long term.

As a result of the Palisades and Eaton fires, thousands of people have been forced to relocate, and over 12,000 houses have been damaged in and around Los Angeles. People are in desperate need of any and all assistance they can receive right now.

Beyoncé, Paris Hilton, Anthony Davis, and Jason Oppenheim are just a few of the other celebrities who have contributed to relief efforts. Also contributing are other celebrities.
