According to his longtime friend Daphna Kastner, who spoke to the Associated Press, the famed music producer passed away on December 24 at a hospital in Los Angeles due to cardiac arrest. In a statement that she sent to the newspaper, she described to him as a “father friend” and recalled the legacy that he left behind.
She said that he made the most of his time spent here. The world is a better place because he was kind, humorous, and lovely. He will be greatly missed. Without him in this world, the sweetness of the planet could be diminished. Heaven, on the other hand, has a higher level of sweetness.
According to TMZ, Ben McCarthy, who had been Perry’s assistant for thirty years, said that the late producer had been suffering from Parkinson’s disease. McCarthy also stated that when he had last seen Perry, which was a month ago, Perry was in a better mood but unable to communicate.

Perry’s career, which dates back to the 1970s and includes producing for notable artists like as Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, and Art Garfunkel, earned him a great deal of admiration and recognition.
