The Princess of Wales, who is 42 years old, was diagnosed with cancer in January, after an abdominal surgery that was scheduled to take place. This has been a challenging time for George, who is 11 years old, Charlotte, who is 9 years old, and Louis, who is 6 years old. When Kate made the announcement in March that she was undergoing chemotherapy and treatment for cancer, she said that she and William “have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.” It is not hard to think that this has taken some time.
