With the birth of her first child, Ree Drummond’s daughter Alex Drummond Scott has officially become a grandma. Ree Drummond is the star of the television show Pioneer Woman.
Alex, who is 27 years old, and her husband, Mauricio Scott, became parents for the first time on December 18th. The baby girl, who they called Sofia Marie, was born. A gallery of black and white photographs of the couple with their new child was included in the post that the new mother posted on Instagram, along with the good news.
The birth of our lovely child came a couple of weeks earlier than expected, just in time for Christmas, at 2:27 in the morning. A message on the couple’s photo said the following: “We are so in love and forever changed.” “Thank you Lord.”
On her Pioneer Woman website, where she uploaded a picture of herself holding Sofia in her arms, Ree, who is 55 years old, also expressed her pleasure over the achievement; she shared the snapshot. The boastful grandmother referred to Sofia as “perfect.”
“I’m saying that with as much objectivity as I can,” Ree said in her letter. On the other hand, I am not joking…she is flawless. What I mean is that if you were to search up the word “perfect” in Miriam Webster, it would make a reference to Sofia Scott and maybe even display a picture of her. Despite the fact that according to the dictionary, it is most likely an encyclopedia.
During the month of October, Alex announced the name that she and her husband, Mauricio Scott, had chosen for their daughter. She also published photographs on Instagram from her baby shower, which was themed around flowers and was attended by family and friends.
“Yesterday was everything I could ever dream of celebrating our Sofia Marie. 🥹💕,” she captioned the photo, which was first published on Sunday, October 20. “Praise the Lord for these wonderful women and so many more!”
There were photographs taken during the baby shower that showed Alex wearing a flowery outfit in magenta and white, as well as pictures of her friends and family members wearing floral and pink dresses. Another item that Alex displayed was a gift basket that had Sofia’s initials stitched on it.
Additionally, Ree used her Pioneer Woman website to post photographs that she had taken throughout the celebration. She raved over the amount of attention to detail that was placed into the baby shower that was hosted by Paige Drummond, Alex’s sister, and Alex’s college pals.
“Finger food, a mimosa bar, petit fours, and lots of Dr Pepper” were some of the items that were provided at the celebration, it was written by Ree.
Other charming details were also present during the baby shower. These included champagne glasses with ribbons wrapped around the stems, a calendar asking everyone to predict when Alex’s due date would be, baby pink cowgirl boots, and photographs of the parents-to-be.
