This Christmas season, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are continuing to spend time together during their time together.
During the early morning hours of Saturday, December 7, the ex-couple, who are parents to three children, Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, were seen out for a drive. Garner, who is 52 years old, had just finished purchasing some freshly baked bagels.
It was stated that the two individuals had a meal together, which consisted of breakfast, and then they proceeded for a drive around the Brentwood region of Los Angeles, before arriving at Affleck’s private residence.
Garner, who is now dating businessman John Miller, has reportedly made plans to share the remainder of the holidays with Affleck, who is also 52 years old, and their children after the two of them requested to spend Thanksgiving together, according to a source who spoke to People earlier this week.
“All that Jen really wants is for her children to be content. According to the insider who spoke with People, “She will continue to make sure that they spend time together as a family together and that Ben is included.”
The source continued by saying, “They also have plans for Christmas with the children.” “The kids enjoy when they all spend time together.”
The couple, who had been married for almost ten years before deciding to divorce three years later, spent the day together helping and distributing free meals to the homeless population in Los Angeles while attending The Midnight Mission’s annual Thanksgiving Street Fair. The couple had separated in 2015 after nearly ten years of marriage.
During the trip, Affleck and Garner were accompanied by their children, and a source shared with PEOPLE that they “truly enjoy giving back to their community and cherishing quality time together as a family.”
Garner recently gave an exclusive interview to PEOPLE in which she discussed the ways in which she and her children intend to enjoy the holiday season. She began by discussing the Thanksgiving meal that they always prepare together as a family. As part of the bigger dinner that the family has together, the actress from Juno said that her children had reached an age when they are able to cook their own dishes.

“I have one kid who specializes in mashed potatoes, that’s their specialty, I have one kid who is all about making an apple pie, that’s their specialty, and then I have one who goodness only knows what she will make,” she said with a smile on her face.
“The other night I got home from work, and my son had Christmas music playing full blast through the whole house, and he was wearing an apron and he was making ginger snaps,” she said while talking about Samuel.
“And it was simply like, ‘That’s exactly what I find myself seeking for. It is precisely this kind of spirit that I would want to see come to our home at this very moment,'” Garner added.
In addition, she said that all of her children intended to go on with their annual custom of seeing the ballet throughout the Christmas season.
“We’ll definitely go see The Nutcracker, because that is a huge part of Christmas for me and for my kids — thank goodness I’ve drilled it into them — and just being together with family,” she said in addition.
