BoxLunch, the company that was in charge of hosting the Christmas meal event, has published a statement in which it said that it is “devastated” by the Disney influencer’s demise and that it has confirmed that she “suffered a medical emergency.”
When she was attending a holiday meal gathering, a Disney influencer allegedly had an allergic reaction, which ultimately led to her passing unexpectedly at the age of 34.
Vibiana in Los Angeles was the location of a BoxLunch event that took place on Thursday. Dominique Brown, who was renowned for being a Disney content creator and went by the nickname HellooDomo, was present at the event.
Brown reportedly passed away as a result of an allergic reaction to food that she had taken during the event, as reported by the Daily Mail. Those who were there at the occasion reportedly said that Brown had food that she had been assured did not contain an element that affected her allergic reaction.
An individual stated that Brown was her “mom’s best friend of ten years” in a message that was published on X, which was previously known as Twitter. This post was reported by both the Daily Mail and PEOPLE.
“She asked if there was peanuts in the food and everyone told her no,” according to what the user wrote. Immediately after she began to feel ill, she begged someone to drive her to the hospital; however, everyone refused and suggested that she take photographs first. Oh, how depressing!”
In the meanwhile, one of the reporters from People who was there at the scene said that they saw Brown undergoing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and that they were informed that 911 was promptly summoned.
A statement released by BoxLunch announced that Brown had passed away.
“We are devastated by the passing of Dominique Brown, a beloved member of the BoxLunch Collective, who suffered a medical emergency at an event hosted by BoxLunch on Thursday in Los Angeles,” a spokeswoman from the organization told PEOPLE. “Our hearts go out to her family and friends, and we will do everything we can to support them and the members of the BoxLunch Collective and our team during this painful time.”

Patrick Ramos, who is believed to be Brown’s brother, paid homage to his sister in the comments area of her last Instagram post, which she published earlier this week. These remarks were posted by Brown. (See the previous sentence.)
Let me introduce myself; my name is Pramos313, and I am Dominique’s brother. I just wanted to take a minute to express my gratitude to her social media family for the outpouring of love and light that they have shown her,” Ramos was quoted as saying. While it was true that Disney brought her happiness, the fact that she discovered a community that loved both her and Disney as much as she did was really remarkable. This contagious grin that she always had will be something that I shall miss about my sister and best friend. I want to express my gratitude to you from the depths of my heart. ❤️🥺 I am.
Many of Brown’s fans responded to the tragic news by posting their thoughts in the comments area of her most recent post. Additionally, other Disney content producers and influencers have been sending their condolences and paying respect on social media.
“Domo, you have left a memory that will be cherished by everyone you contacted. To quote Disney influencer Dapper on the Daily, “You were truly such a great example of what a good person, friend, and creator should be.” Dapper made this statement on her Instagram Stories feed. “Extremely stunning on the inside and exterior. Thank you for being who you really are, for caring, and most importantly, for being such a source of happiness and light for all of us. Your zeal for life, your doggedness, and your passion for the community will continue to resonate with each and every one of us.
Brown’s last video received a response from Sarah Axelrod, who manages the Disney account That Magic Mama. In her comment, she said, “One of the kindest people I’ve met in this community.” Because we knew you, we have undergone a metamorphosis that is permanent. “❤️ϟ”
A fellow Disney creative named Helen Davis expressed her desire to miss and love you deeply, stating, “You were such a shining example of positivity within this community. 🍯✨😭”
It was said on Brown’s Instagram account that she was a resident of Long Beach, California, and that she had more than 17,000 followers on that platform. In addition to that, she developed the online community known as Black Girl Disney in collaboration with her close friend Mia Von. According to the information provided on their website, Brown and Von were motivated to establish the group after seeing a dearth of representation for women of color inside the Disney influencer arena.
