Although the influencer from Australia and her spouse, who is also her stepbrother, first met since they were kids, they caused a stir when they disclosed their unorthodox relationship in 2021. They have said that they do not mind the response, with Vas stating that they “find trolls very entertaining.”
In a recent announcement, OnlyFans model Scarlet Vas revealed that she and her husband, Tayo Ricci, are expecting their first child together.

However, Ricci is not only her companion but also her stepbrother. He is married to her.

In spite of the fact that it seems that the couple, who wedded the wedding in September 2023, have been subjected to criticism in the past due to the unorthodox nature of their relationship, the news of Vas’ pregnancy has gone viral on social media this week and has made headlines.

It was in September that Vas, who had previously been in the Australian serial opera Neighbours, and Ricci, who is a singer, made the announcement that they were expecting their first child together in a picture that they shared on Instagram.

With the description “Baby Ricci 🤍 Our Christmas Miracle ✨,” Ricci accompanied a compilation video of himself and Vas discovering the news and attending medical checkups.

A few days later, the couple published yet another piece of content together, which included a collection of photographs that showed Ricci either caressing or cuddling Vas’ developing baby belly.

After then, there were three of them. When Ricci posted the photo, she wrote it with the phrase “We can’t wait to meet you 🤍.”

With the announcement that the influencer and her husband made last month that they are having a daughter, Vas has continued to keep her 2.4 million Instagram followers up to speed on her pregnancy journey.

Vas and Ricci first cross paths in Melbourne while they were both in their teenage years. Following the subsequent marriages of two of their parents, Vas and Ricci obtained the status of step-siblings.

Vas made this statement in an interview with News.com.au that was published a month ago. She said that she and Ricci are “definitely not blood-related.”

“We’ve been together for 10 years and have just moved back to Australia after living in the US for the last five of those,” she said in an interview.

“We were about 13 years old when we first met through mutual friends, our families knew each other and they introduced us I guess you could say,” she said further. “So we’ve known each other for a very long time.”

The pair made their relationship public for the first time in 2021, when they uploaded a video with the following title: “I fell in love with my boyfriend’s best friend… who happens to be my stepbrother.” Their connection subsequently caused a lot of people to raise their eyebrows on the internet.

In response to a question on how they feel about the criticism that has been directed against their marriage, Vas said to News.com.au, “Honestly, it doesn’t affect us because we have each other.”

It’s not often that I look through our comments area, but when I do, I find myself laughing out loud. We find trolls to be quite funny,” she stated, adding, “If anything is particularly unpleasant, we may reply back, we find it to be quite a nice disarming approach and we find it to be pretty hilarious.”

Despite the fact that the two individuals post a variety of material on social media, Vas said that they quickly realized that when they created content together that was titled “stepsibling,” it would quickly go “viral.”

“We didn’t know what we were doing, but people were drawn to us, and whenever we did anything together it would always go very viral,” she said to reporters.

The fact that’step sibling’ stuff is so popular probably has something to do with the fact that it is so uncommon. “However, during the process of sharing our story, I came to the realization that everyone adores it,” she concluded.

Vas came to the conclusion that “we do spark controversy,” and he was right.

During this month, Vas is due.
