Despite the fact that her mother Kathy passed away from breast cancer nine months ago, Kaitlyn Dever is here to celebrate her mother’s birthday.
On Wednesday, December 4, Dever, who is 27 years old, uploaded a picture on Instagram showing herself as a little child sleeping on Kathy’s bosom along with her mother, who looked to be sleeping as well. With a message that said “Happy heavenly birthday mama 🕊️,” she described the post.
Over the course of the nine months that have passed since Dever made the announcement that Kathy had passed away on February 21st, she has paid tribute to her mother’s life by posting a number of photographs and videos on social media. Over the course of the subsequent time period, Dever has uploaded on Instagram a number of videos, including one of her mother figure skating, selfies that included Kathy and Kaitlyn’s two younger sisters, and old photographs of her parents.
A number of Dever’s well-known friends and co-stars, including as AnnaSophia Robb, Kiernan Shipka, and Dove Cameron, expressed their admiration for her on the occasion of Kathy’s birthday in the comments section of her article that was published on December 4th. A statement was made by Beanie Feldstein, who appeared with Dever in the 2019 film Booksmart, expressing her happiness on the occasion of Dever’s birthday.
“so much love!!” The addition was made by Isabela Merced, who will be starring with Dever in the forthcoming second season of The Last of Us on HBO. He added, “Happy birthday, angel mama Dever 🩷,” expressing his happiness on her birthday.
In February, when Dever made the announcement that her mother Kathy had passed away, she penned an emotional homage to her mother. Dever is recognized for films such as “No One Will Save You.”
I am thankful that you did not take away Mady, Jane, or Dad from me…Because of you, we will always have each other to draw on when we need support. She said in a caption at the time, “You were the best mother and wife anybody could ever want for.” She shared this information with the world. “We are grateful to you for battling so diligently for us for such a long time. The precious time that we were able to spend with you, beautiful mother, is something for which I will be eternally thankful.It is not going to be sufficient.”
During the month of October, Dever posted a snapshot on Instagram in which she was undergoing an MRI as part of a breast cancer screening. She also urged her fans to get screenings on a more regular basis. In that piece, she said that her mother “was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer at the age of 39, which was earlier than the recommended age at that time to get screened or checked for breast cancer.”
She proceeded by saying, “I am thankful for the inheritance of knowledge and wisdom that my mother has bestowed upon me, and I am coming on here to share some of that wisdom with you all.” It is essential that you take responsibility for your health and do it in the most effective manner possible.
