A prominent television actor who participated in more than one thousand episodes of the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” has passed away. His name was Wayne Northrop. It has been verified by TMZ.
Cynthia Snyder, the publicist for the actress, has informed us that Northrop died away at the Motion Picture and Television Woodland Hills Home, which is a place that provides assisted living for those who work in the film business.
Northrop was given a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease six years ago, which is the reason why he requires care at an assisted living facility.
In addition, Wayne’s wife, Lynn Herring Northrop, issued a statement in which she informed the public that her husband breathed his last breath while surrounded by his family. She also expressed gratitude to The Motion Picture and Television Home for the excellent care that they provided to him during the latter years of his life.
During the latter half of the 1970s, Northrop made his debut in the film business. He began his career by acting in small parts on television series such as “Baretta” and “The Waltons.”
He was given a recurring part in the television program “Dynasty” in 1981, and he appeared in the premiere episode as Michael Culhane, who was the chauffeur of Blake Carrington, who was played by John Forsythe, an oil magnate. This was the beginning of his career. He was the actor that appeared in thirty-five episodes of the program.

The part that Wayne portrayed in the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” was the one that marked the beginning of his career. In this role, he played two characters: Dr. Alex North and Roman Brady.
There are a total of 1,036 episodes of the program that he is recognized with participating in, spanning the years 1981 to 2006.
Some of the other shows that he has appeared in include “Port Charles,” “The Young Riders,” “L.A. Law,” “Hotel,” and “Cold Case.”
In 1981, Wayne tied the knot with Lynn, and shortly thereafter, the couple acquired a live cattle ranch in the state of California. Throughout his life, Northop had a deep-seated interest in animals and conservation.
Lynn and their two boys, Hank and Grady, are the only ones who will remember him. Wayne was 77 years old.
