A medical issue that occurred when Julien Arnold was playing in A Christmas Carol ultimately led to his loss. Julien Arnold was a well-known theater performer in Canada.
According to a statement released by the Punctuate! Theatre, where his wife, Sheiny Satanove, serves as the managing director, his passing took place on Sunday, November 24, during an evening performance of the stage show that was being staged at the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta.
CBC News stated, citing a representative for Alberta Health Services, that he passed away at the theater “despite resuscitation attempts” by paramedics. However, the reason of his loss has not been disclosed at this time. In According with the Edmonton Journal, he was sixty years old.
It was said in a playbill for the Citadel Theatre that Arnold portrayed the parts of Marley and Mr. Fezziwig in the production, which is scheduled to continue until Christmas Eve.
In addition to his work in productions of The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Once, the theater said in a statement that the run of A Christmas Carol that will take place during this season would be dedicated to the actor.
After his passing, he was recalled as a “cherished member of the Edmonton theatre community” who was “a gifted performer” who had “charisma and talent.”
With the demise of Julien, his family, friends, fellow Carol company members, Citadel personnel, and the Edmonton city, which he loved so much, have suffered a tremendous loss. According to their statement, “His presence brought joy, heart, and depth to every role, and his artistic contributions – as well as his big hugs – will be deeply missed.”

His wife is in need of financial assistance to cover expenses “related to his passing, including funeral costs, rent, groceries, and time off work to grieve.” A fundraising campaign has been established to do just that.
“Julien’s reach was wide, and we want to make sure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to send condolences and support,” the description of the item goes on to explain further.
On Wednesday, November 27, the Citadel Theatre issued an update, in which they expressed their gratitude to members of the community for their “ongoing kindness and understanding” during this time of mourning for Arnold.
“Please know the Carol family feels the warmth and support of the community as they come together once again to share a story grounded in the importance of compassion, the power of generosity, and the resilience of the human spirit,” they concluded with their update.
