Tiffanie Lucas told the police that she “felt like someone put something upon my house” in a horrifying video that was shot seconds after the losses of her boys. She also said that she believed that video games and YouTube were involved in the act of brutally murdering someone.
The actions of convicted murderer Tiffany Lucas in the hours after the loss of her two boys is captured on a video that was only recently made public.
In November of 2023, Tiffanie Lucas, who is 33 years old and lives in Shepherdsville, confessed to shooting her sons Maurice, who was 6 years old, and Jayden, who was 9 years old, in the head. As a result of their injuries, both boys passed away in the hospital. Last Monday, she was sentenced to two life terms, with the court handing down the maximum permissible penalty. Lucas will be eligible for parole in twenty years.
The video that was published by Law&Crime is not embeddable, but it can be watched on their website. The video begins with her lying on the ground on the driveway of her house while a second wave of cops come to the residence.
When she informs the recording officer that her name is Tiffanie, she is already restrained in handcuffs at the current moment. She goes on to say that she has not been drinking or taking drugs, and then she responds to the officer by saying that she “doesn’t feel right” when she is questioned why she is unable to stand up straight.
After then, the camera turns to the interrogation room, where she urges the officer who is observing her in the room to stop moving his fingers.
“I am seeing you on video as you wiggle your fingers many times before my eyes. Continue to move them around. Please halt. I’m keeping an eye on you,” she says him. “Please don’t do that. “Stop!”

Before the officer who is conducting the interview enters the room, she asserts that he is moving them in response to every sound that is being made. This occurs just as the phone begins to ring.
“What is the problem with that? Almost as soon as you enter through the door, that is strange. “The moment you set foot on the ground, something is off,” she informs him. “Every time I say something, your phone is going off.”
After that, the second officer asks her to tell her a little bit about herself, such as where she is from, before she immediately begins to talk about her boys without being pushed.
Despite the fact that I seem to be insane, I am not. I have a deep affection for my children. I have a lot of affection for my guys. I would never intentionally do them harm, but I couldn’t help but feel as if I was allowing them to play video games while I wasn’t paying attention to what I was meant to be doing, you know? She confides in him.
“Video games and the YouTube and the kids, it just messes their minds up to where people can manipulate their parents or do whatever they want,” she continues to explain. I get the impression that someone has placed something on my home or on myself or on anything else. It simply doesn’t sit well with me. This is not something that I do. “I adore my children.”
After that, she begins to bawl her eyes out in tears.
On November 8, 2023, the sound of gunfire was caught on a Ring camera that was located next to Lucas’ house. It was at that time that Lucas herself rushed out of the property and pleaded for assistance. A neighbor came to the scene, located the lads, and then called the authorities.
Lucas allegedly slumped in the driveway before informing him that her “kids were dying” inside the house, according to the statement made by the responding cops. In addition to the gun, the two youngsters were discovered smeared in blood next to it.
According to reports, Lucas made statements such as “I’m in such a bad spot,” “I’m so stupid,” and “I would never do anything like this unless someone manipulated me.” These statements were made throughout the course of her interrogation by the police.
In a prior court appearance, Detective Richard Beahl testified that Lucas “made statements that she was being manipulated through Facebook, through the internet, or through Wi-Fi… into doing what she did.” Beahl’s testimony was supported by the fact that Lucas made these claims.
In the past, Lucas had pleaded not guilty, and his lawyers were apparently attempting to use insanity as a defense. In October, however, she changed her plea to guilty.
Just before to the sentence, her legal representatives made their first statements on the case. It was reported that they said that Lucas had “powerful delusions” on the day of the shooting and attempted to kill herself, but the gun jammed. In addition, they displayed film in order to emphasize her poor mental condition in the time preceding up to the killings. This included footage in which she was purportedly heard imploring, “I need to have good people around me.” I am dependent on my family. I am out of luck.”
In addition, Maurice Baker Sr., the father of one of the victims, provided a statement of impact prior to Lucas’s sentencing, in which he said that she “held my son over my head.”
“He’s missed a great number of birthdays. She never allowed him to attend the party that I had prepared for him. “I pleaded with her,” he said. “When I just contacted her, I asked her if it would be possible for me to have a conversation with my kid. She did not look at me.
In addition to this, it was said that he looked Lucas in the eye and said, “You know what you are.”
As he spoke, he remarked, “I will never see my son again.” “Jayden’s family will never see him again … they don’t have a second chance.”
The judge, meanwhile, reportedly said he couldn’t “imagine the sheer horror these children must have experienced seeing their mother with a gun. It is impossible to overstate the level of terror that the second youngster felt when he heard the firearm being fired at the first child. As well as the possibility of both of them seeing their mother pull the trigger, so sacrificing their own lives.
