It does not seem like things are going well for Wendy Williams. According to her guardian, the former talk show host has been rendered “permanently incapacitated” as a result of her ongoing struggle with dementia.

According to a recent court file that was acquired by TMZ, Wendy’s guardian claims that she “has been afflicted by early-onset dementia and, as a result, has become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.”

As we previously reported, Wendy was given a diagnosis of aphasia and dementia in May of 2023. This was around one year after she was put under the care of a legal guardian who was responsible for monitoring her health and finances.

Sabrina Morrissey, Wendy’s guardian, and the document titled “Where Is Wendy Williams?” are engaged in a legal dispute, and the court filing is a constituent of that dispute.

The news was first reported by TMZ… Morrissey filed a lawsuit in February to prevent the documentary from being released. At the conclusion of the day, the documentary was made available on Lifetime, and it emphasized Wendy’s difficulties with alcohol, including a sequence in which she consumed an entire bottle of vodka.

In this document, Morrissey is requesting that some aspects of the case be removed from the record in order to safeguard Wendy’s privacy. These aspects include information on Wendy’s health, her relationships with her family, and her financial situation.

The last time we saw Wendy in public was in August, when she was in New Jersey, where she was doing her shopping at a holistic health store.

In addition, Wendy was interviewed by the Daily Mail at the beginning of October, during which she focused mostly on the Diddy scandal. It was not possible to record the interview.

As a result of her physical condition, WW stepped down from her position as host of the “Wendy Williams Show” in 2022. She was succeeded by Sherri Shepherd, who went on to create her own daytime talk program called “SHERRI.”
