A woman who had suffered burns and is now a make-up artist has described how the brutal comments of bullies almost caused her to take her own life.
Shalom Blac, now 20 years old, stated in an emotive video that she was bullied on a regular basis after she was burnt with boiling oil in Nigeria when she was nine years old, which caused her to consider taking her own life.
According to an interview that the renowned beauty YouTube blogger gave to the website Cosmopolitan.com, she thinks that she has discovered her “calling” and that she does not have any regrets about what has occurred in the past.

After suffering severe burns in her mother’s restaurant, which caused her to lose her hair and leave scars on her shoulders, chest, and face, Shalom’s life was a living hell for many years.
After spending four months in the hospital, she reported being tormented by youngsters, who she said called her names such as “monster,” “two-face,” and “scarface.”

She traveled to the United States in the hopes that things would be better there, but instead she was subjected to greater abuse and had to put up with everyone gazing at her.
In the video, she can be heard saying, “Eventually I came to America thinking it was going to be better but the bullying just continued, to the point that I actually wanted to commit suicide.” She does so while gradually removing her makeup.
Shalom, who is seen in an emotional video taking off her makeup while sharing her experience, had anticipated that things would be different when she came to the United States, but the hostile stares and conduct remained after she made the trip.
Self-love: She said that she was able to triumph over her negative emotions by focusing on her own attractiveness.

But she was able to pull herself out of her depression by “working on herself” and making an effort to see her own attractiveness.
Because of the dramatic change of events, Shalom has said that even if she had the opportunity to undo what has taken place, she would not use that opportunity.
Shalom, seen above as a little girl, said that she believes she has discovered her ‘purpose’ in life and that she would not change the past, even if she had the ability to do so.
