One of the many reasons that America’s Got Talent Season 19 was unforgettable is the jaw-dropping Quarterfinals performance of a 9-year-old.
Every time Journeyy graced the stage on AGT, it was a special moment. However, his rendition of Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” will endure in perpetuity as one of the most unforgettable performances in the annals of the program. Young Journeyy hunkered down at the piano with the poise and grace of an individual much older, delivering a message of hope in the tradition of the legendary reggae icon.
The spirit of Marley permeated Journeyy for two extraordinary minutes, as his gentle vocals sang the well-known refrain of “Don’t worry about a thing / Every little thing is gonna be alright.” The young man’s every word captivated AGT viewers, and he even demonstrated his singing abilities with a few impressive lines. Finally, Journeyy’s ability to simultaneously perform and play the piano is a testament to his talent.
The Judges were astounded by Journeyy’s performance, as evidenced by the extended standing ovation she received.
Simon Cowell informed him following the performance, “That is a moment; it truly is.” “There is something peculiar about you.” I sincerely hope that the audience will support you tonight, as you are a kind child with immense potential. You are truly deserving of this.
“I must commend you for your courage in the face of the immense fame of Bob Marley’s song…” “It is a brave move, so I commend you for taking it,” Heidi Klum stated. “You sounded beautiful.”

Howie Mandel stated to Decider in May 2024 that AGT Season 19 is “funnier, more exciting, and weirder” than any season he has ever seen. He is not exaggerating. I was more amused during Season 19. I have never been more dismayed, more repulsed, or more astonished by any single season of the show.
Mandel attributes the show’s success to the remarkable dynamic between the Judges. (Cowell, Klum, and Sofia Vergara were all featured in Season 19.)
“I don’t know how to explain what we have, except that what you see is what it is,” Mandel asserted. “We are genuine.” We sincerely appreciate each other’s company and engage in social activities both before and after the show. We are from vastly different backgrounds and possess vastly diverse business acumens; however, we hold each other’s perspectives in high regard. I will appreciate something that someone else despises. They will appreciate an item that I despise. And that is acceptable. We are a group of four individuals who are genuinely authentic, speak their minds, and have a great deal of respect and affection for one another.
