The Royal Marines Band’s amazing rendition of Neil Diamond’s well-known song Sweet Caroline went viral. To the accompaniment of a full orchestra, three marines—BdCpl Sam McIndoe, BdLCpl Kirsty Haines, and BdLCpl Hannah Smither—sing the song.
Located at HMS Excellent, Whale Island, Portsmouth, on the southeast coast of England, the band is one of five bands that make up the Royal Marines Band Service, the Royal Navy’s musical branch.
They have a substantial internet following and are well-known for doing incredible covers of well-known songs, including this one.

About 70,000 people follow them on YouTube, and most of their videos get a few thousand views, with some even getting tens of thousands.
But in only a few months, the band received an incredible 1 million views for their concert! This accomplishment is justified given the talent and work that went into this amazing production.
The bands that make up The Royal Marines Band Service are among of the most diverse military musical groups in the world, according to their YouTube website.
They are well known for “offering the State, Defense, and Royal Navy musical and ceremonial excellence that supports the nation’s core values, service ethos, and fabric of the nation.”
