Pat eventually moved back to California to continue his professional life there.

Pat ultimately found a position on “Wheel of Fortune,” which has been his occupation for more than half a century now. Since that time, Pat has had a series of more challenging jobs, such as working as a radio announcer and later as a weatherman.

His understanding and encouraging family was there for him every step of the way. Since 1989, he has been married to Lesly Brown Sajak, who is a photographer as well as a model. Patrick is 32 years old, and Maggie is 28 years old, and they have two children. While Maggie has followed in her father’s footsteps by working in the entertainment sector, Patrick has chosen to maintain his quiet life.

Maggie has also previously made many appearances on the game program “Wheel of Fortune,” where she has worked as both a special letter toucher and a social media reporter for the show. Maggie and Pat got quite close, particularly due to the fact that they are both employed in the entertainment business. Additionally, both Maggie and Pat have been very public about their admiration and regard for one another. Continue reading to find out more about Maggie, the connection that he has with his father, and what she is doing, particularly now that her father has retired from hosting “Wheel of Fortune.”

Maggie is the most recent member of the Sajak family, having been born in January 1995. She began learning how to play the guitar when she was 12 years old and creating her own songs around the same time. This was the beginning of her career as a singer-songwriter, which she began pursuing at an early age. Pop, country, and even some occasional rock may be heard in Maggie’s music, which has been characterized as having a hybrid sound.

She made her debut with a record called “First Kiss,” which was met with widespread praise from music critics and fans alike, who praised her singing ability and expertise as a songwriter.

In an interview with Teen Vogue from 2013, she said, “Being a singer is something that has always been a dream of mine.” “My love for music elevated to the position of highest importance the moment I picked up the guitar and began playing live more often. My goals are growing closer and closer to being accomplished as I finish recording a new song and a new music video.

Maggie has the same dogged determination as her father. According to a post that she made on Instagram, the youngest Sajak kid has already earned her Juris Doctor degree. After completing her undergraduate degree at Princeton University, she continued her education by enrolling in a masters program at Columbia University.

She was also active in a number of charitable organizations, including as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the United Services Organizations, both of which are near and dear to her heart because of the military service that her father provided. Maggie said to The Daily Front Row in a different interview in the year 2013 that she does not pursue a medical degree at this time.

Notable is the fact that Maggie received her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medicine from Princeton. She had said at the time, “I’m not sure what my major is going to be just yet, but in the meantime, I’m doing a little bit of pre-med because I want to lay the groundwork in case I ever want to go to medical school.”

Maggie’s connection with her father, whom she loves and respects tremendously, is one of the most precious in her life. Maggie, an occasional resident of social media, is known to post photographs of her parents on several times, such as throwbacks, as tributes for Father’s Day, and even as birthday wishes.

“Kindergarten father-daughter dance…I find it hard to imagine that he was still attending kindergarten at that age! Maggie said that her father had written a particular message for Father’s Day in the caption of a throwback picture, which she posted on her Instagram account.

When Pat announced his retirement from the program after hosting it for four decades, Maggie, along with many other people, was thankful for the service that her father had provided.

In a post on Instagram, she expressed her delight at working with her father, saying, “It’s so much fun working with my dad…and we’re looking forward to even more fun in Season 41.”

Many people are unaware of the fact that Maggie and Pat have collaborated on a number of episodes of “Wheel of Fortune” together. The first time was when she substituted for Vanna White as a special letter toucher at the time when the famous hostess was filling in for Sajak while he was out briefly recovering from an unexpected surgery in the year 2020.

In the month of May 2023, Maggie was back on the board when she stood in for White once again. White was playing as a participant for “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune: Ultimate Host Night” with “Jeopardy!” hosts Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik at the time.

During that broadcast, Pat gave an emotional introduction to Maggie, waxing nostalgic over the fact that her daughter is co-hosting the show with him.

Pat confided to her daughter, “I think I’m going to cry,” to which her daughter replied, “Me, too!” I am overjoyed, but I realize that I have some legendary high shoes to fill… I aim to make Vanna proud.”

Even though Pat is leaving his job, he is not completely giving up his involvement in the business. The statement that was released by Sony Pictures Television indicated that he has promised to continue working as a consultant on the program for the next three years after he retires.
