The adage that “age is just a number” is being put to the test by a grandma who is exceptionally talented. In a self-assured manner, the grandma ventured onto the platform and immediately began doing an incredible salsa dance performance.

Initially, she does a wonderful job of shimmying her shoulders, but this is only a little warm-up. It just takes her a few seconds to begin swinging her whole body into a fantastic salsa performance.

The moment she starts to bend her legs and hips, she immediately understands that she still has it, and she continues to go forward.

Once she has reached a point where she is comfortable adding a few new motions, she proceeds to add more. It is imperative that the band follow her example since she is not slowing down for anybody.

According to the Latin Dance Centre, the following is a definition of salsa dancing:

‘… danced by stepping on three beats of music in succession, stopping for one beat, and then repeating the process…A significant element that contributes to the character of salsa is Cuban motion. The knees are bent and straightened in an alternating pattern, which is the major source of Cuban motion, especially the hip movement.

The salsa is a dance that is generally performed by two people, however this lady is capable of doing it by herself.

There are a few recognized solo variations of salsa, such as the solo dances “suelta” and “Rueda de Casino,” in which a circle of couples swaps partners. Although salsa is normally performed with a partner, there are several solo variations that are recognized. According to Dance Shoes Stores, salsa may be done in a manner that is either spontaneous or according to a set routine.

It is possible to hear the crowd cheering for her, but the only thing that spectators can see are the grins on the faces of the band members.

Every single person in the room, including the band, is having a great time watching this “granny” execute her most impressive moves.

It is at this point that she starts to shake her hips, which causes the audience to get even louder for her. It’s true that she’s getting older, but she still has the ability to rock a room with her salsa-style dances.

I find it very delightful to see this vivacious dancer, who is capable of doing salsa dances on stage, having a good time.

Please let this salsa-shaking granny to serve as a reminder to everyone that age is only a number and that we should all continue doing whatever it is that brings us joy, such as dancing.
