Archie was baptized only two months after his birth, at a private ceremony that took place in the chapel at Windsor Castle. The Archbishop of Canterbury presided over the service.
The small toddler was baptized with water from the River Jordan while wearing the royal baptism robe that was used by the royal family. Both Harry and Meghan adhered to the customs that have been established, but they chose not to disclose the names of Archie’s godparents.
Fans would be delighted once again when the pair would release a series of photographs from their trip to South Africa, where they had the opportunity to meet with Archbishop Desmond Tutu, in September of 2019.
