With his back end, Will Smith is able to clear a space far more effectively than most people.
The director of the film, Barry Sonnenfeld, claims that the actor was such a fart bag during the production of the science fiction picture “Men in Black,” which was released in 1997, that he prompted the whole cast and staff to leave the set for a period of three hours.
On Wednesday’s edition of Kelly Ripa’s podcast, “Let’s Talk Off Camera,” Sonnenfeld made the surprising disclosure as he was promoting his new book, “Best Possible Place, Worst Possible Time.” Ripa was the host of the program.
Ripa was informed by the director that Smith broke loose as he was filming a scene with his co-star Tommy Lee Jones in a “hermetically sealed” vehicle that converted into a hyper car while they were in the Midtown Tunnel in Manhattan.

On the other hand, Sonnenfeld said that Smith’s rear end became a significant issue since it continued to release gas throughout the stinky shoot.
Sonnenfeld said that the odor was so strong that he had to descend a ladder and run out of the tunnel with Jones. Jones was also there at this time.
After the actors and crew were overcome by the odor, Sonnenfeld observed that they were compelled to leave the location for a period of three hours.
Sonnenfeld, who characterized Will as a beautiful man but a “farter,” said, “It’s just how some people are.” Smith was extremely sorry, according to Sonnenfeld, who regarded Will as a delightful individual.
