Zahara Jolie-Pitt, who is 19 years old and the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has shown her expertise in the art of dance. There was a video that went viral that showed Zahara dancing with a bunch of females, and many people stated precisely the same thing.
Zahara, who is a student at Spelman College in Atlanta, participated in a traditional walking routine with her Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) sorority sisters. This is a habit that has been around since the early 1900s. She proudly performed with her sorority sisters while wearing a green attire consisting of a tank top, denim shorts, and shoes. She stood out from the crowd.
Zahara and the gang were seen dancing to the song “Back Outside” by Anycia and Latto in the video, which instantly went viral on the social media platform TikTok. Many of the spectators were astonished by her flowing movements and joyous demeanor, and many of them commented on how much more confident she seemed to be feeling.
Someone made the observation, “Okay, it’s a Jolie thing because she’s moving and looks so pretty,” and they were right. “The self-assurance and commitment to excellence that she is demonstrating as a black girl is absolutely stunning to behold.” An other person concurred, saying, “I remember seeing videos of her from the past, and she appeared to be so shy and sweet.”
Fans also lauded Angelina Jolie for her parenting, praising her for cultivating Zahara’s connection to her cultural background and praising her for her parenting. One of the viewers noted how important it is for adoptive parents to support their children’s engagement in their history, particularly within Black communities, and they praised Angelina for allowing Zahara to have that freedom.
In the year 2022, Zahara joined Alpha Kappa Alpha, which was the first historically Black sorority to incorporate its members. In a video that was distributed by Essence, she made her introduction to a large group of people and made the decision to remove the “Pitt” from her name, therefore completely accepting her identity within the sisterhood.
An AKA luncheon was held in November 2023 to commemorate Zahara’s success after she was inducted into the organization. Angelina, along with her sons Maddox and Pax, attended the event. Brad Pitt was noticeably missing from the photographs that they shot together in celebration of Zahara’s enrollment in the Mu Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
