This is an update that Demi Moore is providing about the health of her ex-husband, Bruce Willis.
On Friday, September 13, while appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, the Substance actor, who is 61 years old, and Drew Barrymore reminisced about their time working on Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, which was released in 2003. The presenter brought up Bruce’s little appearance at the beginning of the picture.
“During the time that we were working on Charlie’s Angels, Bruce came and played on it, and he opens up the film, and we got the opportunity to work with him,” said Barrymore, who is 49 years old. Moore said, “I completely forgot about that.”
She proceeded by saying, “I mean, I used to know him when he was a bartender at… Cafe Central,” as Moore yelled the name of the New York City establishment at the same moment.
Also, I’ve known him for the all of my life… “How is he doing at this very moment?” Moore, who had been married to the actor from 1987 until 2000, then disclosed that “given the givens, he is in a stable place.” Barrymore then questioned Moore about the actor’s current situation.
Then, she went on to relate how she and her family had dealt with Bruce, who was 69 years old at the time, when he was diagnosed with aphasia and then subsequently frontotemporal dementia (often referred to as FTD).
When I talk to my children, I tell them that you should meet them where they are. “You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be; rather, you hold on to who they are in this moment,” the actress remarked.
Moore continued by saying, “And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness.” I make it a point to visit every week while I’m in Los Angeles, and I really value the time that we all get to spend together.

Following the information that the actor had been diagnosed with aphasia, the Willis family announced in March 2022 that the actor was “stepping away” from his decades-long profession.
The following month, in February 2023, his wife Emma Heming Willis made the announcement that her husband’s health had deteriorated to the point that a “more specific diagnosis” of FTD was assigned.
Since then, Bruce’s children Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Willis, whom he shares with Moore, as well as Mabel Willis and Evelyn Willis, whom he shares with Emma, have provided several updates about his health, both online and at public appearances.
During her own visit on The Drew Barrymore Show in November of last year, Tallulah, who is thirty years old, shared with host Barrymore that Bruce “is the same, which I think in this regard I’ve learned is the best thing you can ask for.”
“I see love when I’m with him, and it’s my dad and he loves me, which is really special,” she continued at the time. “It’s really special.”
