As a result of the horrific bike accident that occurred this summer, Gordon Ramsay is disclosing the specific causes of the tragedy and sharing the horror that he went through as a result of the disaster.

In a recent interview with Men’s Health, the professional chef discusses his terrifying incident. In the interview, he admits that he struck a “crater-like pothole,” which caused him to fall off his bicycle.

When Gordon made contact with the enormous rut, his bike went through a complete rotation of 180 degrees, as he stated it before.

Gordon recounts that he originally attempted to rally after the crash, but he soon recognized that he was in a critical condition since his helmet had broken apart, leaving him with poor eyesight and coated in blood.

He continued by saying, “I honestly thought I was going to pass out.”

In response to a call from his assistant, Justin Mandel, an ambulance came on the scene and transported him to a local hospital. There, he was subjected to CT scans, which verified that he had not fractured any bones.

However, Gordon was not yet out of the woods; he required daily lymphatic drainage treatments as well as physiotherapy for his wounds.

According to Gordon, the whole procedure was a nightmare for him. He described himself as feeling like a “f***ing 95-year-old man,” and he required his assistant’s assistance in putting on his underpants throughout his rehabilitation.

The first time Gordon disclosed the details of his mishap was on Father’s Day, when he posted a blog entry on Instagram. In the article, he made a passing reference to the discomfort he felt following the fall.

It is now common knowledge that GR was going through a really difficult period, yet he made an effort to maintain a cheerful attitude for his supporters.

Do not forget to put on your helmets, everyone! This is the most important thing you can learn from this entire ordeal.
