Alyssa Milano has a wide variety of skills. The actress who rose to fame after appearing in the television shows “Who’s the Boss?” and “Charmed” has since expanded her career to include work as a producer, author of books, advocate, podcaster, and activist. Her podcast, “Sorry Not Sorry,” often features interviews with activists whose work addresses social problems.
Her website is filled with remembrances of her life, both professionally and personally. Milano is a fierce advocate for women’s rights and works tirelessly to ensure that future generations do not have to face the challenges she has faced.
One of the lines that can be seen on her blog is as follows: “We cannot allow another generation of women and children to grow up knowing their government and those acting in its name see us as less than human.”
Additionally, Milano promotes the idea that women should assist one another. She was a crucial figure in making “MeToo” go viral in 2017, since she, too, had been the victim of sexual assault at the age of 19 while attending a concert. The activist made the plea for women to unite and stand together at an event five years after the “MeToo” movement first gained traction.

She remarked that there were “so many powerful women” present in the room. “We’re in the same room together,” she continued. “And what does it mean to help women succeed in this industry, to help us develop together, and to help us be stronger together? My interpretation is that it entails giving each other’s initiatives the go-ahead. It implies serving as each other’s mentors. And it involves working together to find jobs, as well as being there for one another,” Milano emphasized.
Milano’s spouse is the reason why she is able to balance her professional life and motherhood responsibilities so well. She revealed in her book, “Sorry Not Sorry,” how supportive her husband, David Bugliari, has been to her over the years. On August 15, 2023, the couple celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary, and Milano used the opportunity to post a rare picture of herself and Bugliari together along with a text that described her feelings for him. Being a mother brings Milano the greatest amount of happiness. The actress from “Charmed” said that she had a desire to have children from a very young age and acquired several dogs to satisfy that yearning. She was on birth control at the time, but in 1993 she still managed to become pregnant twice. Realizing that she was not yet prepared for motherhood, she decided to abort both of her pregnancies.
During her podcast, she described the event as “devastating.” “I was brought up Catholic but was all of a sudden confronted with challenges to my beliefs. A religion that I was starting to understand gave only males the ability to decide everything, including what was permitted and what was not allowed.

The choice that Milano made would come back to haunt her in later years. In 2009, she hitched the knot with Bugliari, a manager, and while she was already in her late 30s at the time, the couple immediately started trying for a child after the wedding. Despite the speed with which she became pregnant, she miscarried the baby and was devastated by the experience. The actress from “Mistresses” believed that God was to blame for her suffering because he was angry with her for the abortions she had while she was in her 20s.
“I definitely had this moment of, ‘Well, I’m being punished,’ basically for abortions in my 20s,” she said in an edition of the Me Becoming Mom podcast. “I definitely had this moment of, ‘Well, I’m being punished,’ basically for having an abortion.” “That was something that I had been putting on myself, but it took some time in therapy for me to realize that,” the patient said.
To our relief, Bugliari turned out to be an excellent business associate. Milano was taken aback by the doctor’s subsequent action when he broke the dreadful news to them. Despite the fact that they had both shed tears, she stated in her book:
“He grasped my face, looked straight into my eyes, and told me, ‘It’s alright. It has been decided that we will have another child. A more desirable infant. That little one was a big admirer of the Boston Red Sox. And at that same time, when I was experiencing some of the most excruciating agony I have ever known, I laughed.
In 2011, they became parents for the first time to a son whom they named Milo, and in September 2014, they had a girl whom they named Elizabella.
Despite experiencing memories of the moment she was attacked while giving birth to Milo, Milano adored being pregnant and giving birth to her children. Milo was the first kid.
“I remembered at one point really not enjoying the fact that lots of people had access to my vagina,” she said on the show. “It was a very awkward situation for me.” As a direct result of this, the television celebrity, who is now 50 years old, had her kids by cesarean section.
The fact that Milano is so devoted to her family is made clear by the fact that she is so adamant about “raising kids that are socially aware and conscious.” She said this in an interview with Us Weekly: “My kid is incredibly kind and understanding. My son is incredibly robust and well structured. The majority of her Instagram is likewise comprised of images of her children.
In the meanwhile, Milano and Bugliari manage to make time for one another despite their hectic schedules. After stating to Us Weekly in 2019 that a marriage is a “work in progress,” she stated the following in her memoir:
“Love is, in many ways, a perpetual condition of apologizing to one another. It entails acknowledging the areas in which you struggle, being aware that the person you care about is aware of those areas, and making a concerted effort to improve in those areas.
On August 15, 2023, the married couple who had discovered the secret to a long and happy life together reached the milestone of 14 years of wedded bliss. In honor of the event, Milano chose to commemorate it by posting an extremely uncommon photo of her and Bugliari on their wedding day to Instagram. Because his Instagram page is private and he prefers to keep a low profile, the manager only made a limited number of appearances on the photo-sharing platform.
“Thirteen years ago today, I wed the man who would become the love of my life. “David, you are the center of my universe,” Milano gushed in the description of the photo. “And despite everything, I’m still head over heels in love with you. When you enter a room, you make me forget to breathe for a moment. Wishing you a happy anniversary, my sweetheart!
In front of their loved ones and close friends, the young couple tied the knot in the living room of the Bugliari family home fourteen years ago.
