After performing as the opening act for Taylor Swift, Suki Waterhouse is experiencing a touch of stardom.

On Saturday, August 17, the singer of “Good Looking,” who is 32 years old, opened for one of the pop superstar’s Eras Tour stops in London, which was her birthplace. Paramore was also participating in the performance. Even now, a day later, she is still unable to accept it.

On Sunday, August 18, Waterhouse published a heartfelt Instagram post that included a backstage photo of her and Swift, 34, hugging at Wembley Stadium. Additionally, the post included some cute video from the evening.

In one of the videos, Waterhouse can be seen dancing to Taylor Swift’s song “Karma” in the fans of the stadium, swinging her hair from side to side. In another video, Swift can be seen expressing gratitude and praise to Waterhouse for her opening performance.

According to the film, Swift is heard telling the audience, “She is someone I get to call a friend.” The length of time that I have been a fan of her music is extensive. In spite of the fact that this was her local event, she completely dominated this place tonight.

In response to the enthusiastic cheers from the audience, she said, “Give it up for Suki Waterhouse!”

According to Waterhouse, “the last time I was at Wembley I was dancing my ass off at the Reputation tour!” Waterhouse disclosed this information in the post.

“I never imagined that the next time I would be here, I would be opening for my favorite artist, with my friends and family in the audience,” she added. “It was nothing I could have imagined.” “I would like to express my gratitude to @taylorswift for providing me with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform in my beloved city of London, as well as for his unwavering support throughout my own artistic journey.”

He continued by saying, “You are the biggest and brightest star in the world,” referring to Swift. “I love you so much.”

The star of Daisy Jones and the Six then joked that she is irrevocably altered, saying, “My nervous system will never be the same after last night.” She stated this at the end of the conversation.

With a reference to the last picture in the photo dump, which was a flashback picture of her wearing Swift’s merchandise from 1989, she came to the conclusion that “someone should go inform this chick on the last slide that she just opened for ERAS BABY!!!

When Waterhouse originally announced the news earlier this month, she was also celebrating her success as the opening act for the Eras Tour, which lasted just one night.

When the singer sent a message on X (which was then known as Twitter) on August 5th, she expressed her feelings by saying, “It is truly an honor to simply exist at the same time as @taylorswift, let alone to be an opener for her on the most massive and most successful tour ever 😭😭.”

Waterhouse continued by saying, “A dream come true that I never want to wake up from waking up from.” My hometown, Wembley Stadium, is where I will be performing! Are you going to be at THE ERAS TOUR on August 17th?

In an interview with Rolling Stone that was released before to the event on August 17, Waterhouse explained how she felt when she found out that she would be opening for one of her longstanding musical heroes.

“I was dreaming, dreaming, dreaming of this happening,” she said to the aforementioned publication. “My manifestation was going really well. Consequently, when I found out, I said to myself, “Yes, our dreams can come true.”
