It is possible that Drake Bell may be making a comeback to the world of television, as he has said that he and Josh Peck have discussed the possibility of working together again in a couple of parts that are known to them.

In an interview with The Patriot-News, the actor mentioned the idea of a “Drake & Josh” remake. He said that the two have discussed the prospect of a reboot, but that it would be more of a buddy comedy than the original family ensemble show.

In point of fact, Drake has said that he is not even certain that they would play the exact same roles or whether they would play new versions of Drake and Josh. He also stated that he is not even certain if Miranda Cosgrove, who portrayed their younger sister Megan in the original show, would return.

Obviously, Drake does not have the finest recollections from his time spent working on the original “D&J.” In his book “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” he goes into great detail about the alleged abuse he had as he was growing up through the Niceklodeon system.

In light of this, it should not come as a surprise to learn that he has no intention of returning to the role that was linked with all of that pain. Given that the two have not always had the finest connection, simply working with Peck is a significant step forward in the relationship between them.

According to what Bell disclosed at the time, Peck had reached out to him personally after viewing the documentary. It appears that the two are getting closer and closer to working together once more, which is, to tell you the truth, the closest they have been in years.

After Josh failed to invite Drake to his wedding, the two have been involved in a public dispute in the past. However, they were able to put their differences behind them at the 2017 Video Music Awards.

This level of closeness, on the other hand, is an additional development in their relationship… and it is one that will undoubtedly cause fans to embrace every other other.
