The rock artist Steven Tyler is regarded as one of the most famous musicians in the world. He is capable, all by himself, of filling arena after stadium with his signature raspy voice and magnetic stage presence. Because of his band, Aerosmith, Tyler has left an impression that spans many generations on their millions of admirers all over the globe.
On March 26, 1948, Steven Victor Tallarico made his debut into the world in Manhattan, New York. After a while, Tyler ended up moving to Boston, which is where he and his bandmate Joe Perry finally established Aerosmith.
Following a succession of singles in the 1970s and 1980s, such as “Walk This Way” and “Dream On,” they maintained the momentum of their booming career in the 1990s with the songs “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” which was included on the soundtrack for “Armageddon,” and “Crazy.”
The band has won over a significant number of fans all over the world, solidifying their status as the American hard rock band with the highest number of all-time record sales.
Tyler even went on to stand out on his own as he eventually became a judge on “American Idol” for two years and has appeared on several television series over the years like “The Simpsons,” “Hell’s Kitchen,” and “Nashville,” among many others.

Because of his loud screams and his impressively broad vocal range, he has been dubbed the “Demon of Screamin'” for the whole of his career. This moniker has helped him get the greatest notoriety.
However, his voice and distinctive method of singing may also be the reason why his health was recently placed in jeopardy. Recently, he and the other members of Aerosmith were forced to postpone a few dates on their planned “Peace Out Tour” throughout North America because he was instructed by physicians to take a vacation from performing. This was because he was told to take a break from singing.
Fans were excited when Aerosmith announced their “Peace Out Tour” in May of 2023. The band was going to perform in various places throughout North America with special guests The Black Crowes, and they were going to play the main classics that fans had known and loved over the decades. Since this will be the band’s final tour, it is important not just for the band members but also for the fans who have supported them over the years.
Following their performance at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia at the beginning of September, the band moved on to start the adventure that would become their tour. Some of the attendees were ecstatic since this was their first opportunity to witness members Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, and Brad Whitford performing together on one stage. This made for an enjoyable experience for the audience.
However, their trip was cut short as the band posted a tragic update on their official Instagram account, which informed their fans about the unfortunate development. He disclosed this information in a statement that he wrote, in which he said that his physicians had given him severe instructions not to sing for the next 30 days owing to damage to his vocal cords.
“It breaks my heart to tell you this, but the doctor has given me a stern order to refrain from singing for the next thirty days. I suffered damage to my voice cords during the performance on Saturday, which ultimately resulted in bleeding,” he stated.
The rocker continued by saying that Aerosmith had to postpone a couple of their gigs in order to return to the stage and provide the kind of performance that the fans are entitled to.
To our good fortune, they swiftly rearranged the dates, which would now take place between the months of January and February in 2024. Cities such as Detroit, Toronto, Raleigh, Chicago, Cleveland, and Washington, DC were among those that were impacted by the storm.
Fans are in fortunate, as their tickets will continue to be valid for the rescheduled dates, but the band has promised those who have other arrangements that they will get a refund for their tickets via the location from where they purchased them.
After the band posted their news, fans rushed to the comments area to voice their concerns about Aerosmith’s frontman as soon as the space was available.
“This does not bode well for the future. One person said, “I hope he has a speedy recovery.”
Given his age, this should not come as a surprise. He is one of the most iconic front men in the history of Grace music… And without a doubt, one of the most astonishing, strong, and recognized voices in the annals of history. One person said that it must be a living misery for him to sing such stuff at his age.

“Are you bleeding?! This is quite eerie. It seems like thirty days for healing is not even close to being adequate time. In particular for someone of his age,” another person commented.
Someone said, “Your health is more important than your career heal well king,” and this sentiment was shared by many.
Someone expressed their hope that the singer would “oh please get well soon rest that beautiful one of a kind voice for all of the world.”
There were also individuals who were fortunate to attend the initial concert, and those users shared their experiences with other fans to reassure them that the rescheduled dates would be well worth the wait.
“I went to the concert on Saturday, and it was incredible; you won’t regret the time that you spent waiting for it.” (I promise),” it said in the writing.
This was not the first time that Tyler experienced health issues when he had a run of booked gigs lined up; in fact, it happened more than once. According to a report that was distributed by Fox News in the month of December 2022, the band was forced to call off the last two performances of their residency in Las Vegas.
Although the specific nature of Steven’s illness was not disclosed, the band said in a statement that they issued at the time, “On the advice of doctors, Steven must sit these out.” Keep up your good health, and we’ll catch up with you in the new year!
Blabbermouth published an article in May 2023 stating that many months later, Perry had given assurances to Tyler’s followers that he was doing well and that he had recovered, saying, “He’s doing one hundred percent better.”
