Despite the fact that he is battling with a terrible neck ailment, Usher has decided to postpone more gigs because he believes it is his responsibility to do things at a leisurely pace.

During a rehearsal for his “Past Present Future” tour earlier this week, the R&B artist sustained an injury to his neck, which he only recently disclosed to the public.

Usher claims that he had hoped that going through physical therapy and receiving medical treatments would be sufficient to get him back on stage as soon as possible. However, he claims that the injury is not mending as quickly as he would want, and his doctors are advising him not to perform.

Usher has announced that he would be delaying two additional gigs this week, which will take place on Friday and Saturday in Atlanta, and will instead reschedule those shows for the month of December.

On Wednesday, he was scheduled to begin his tour; however, only a few hours before the event was scheduled to begin, he made the announcement that he would be pulling the plug on the tour, stating that he needed to give his body time to rest and recuperate.

It wasn’t until Thursday that the singer revealed that he had suffered a neck injury. He claims that he has to be completely healthy in order to provide his fans with the “excellence you expect from an Usher show.”

It has been said by Usher that he is aiming to begin the tour on Tuesday in Washington, District of Columbia, provided that he receives the necessary rest and treatment.
