Before she became famous, Salma Hayek lived a rather low-key existence in her home country of Mexico, despite the fact that she is now widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and successful actors in the world. Hayek’s dedication to the skill of acting, which she began cultivating at the age of 18, finally catapulted her into the upper echelons of the industry.
Despite the fact that she is at the top of her field, she still makes time to speak for issues that are important to her. She is well known for her efforts to end violence against women in the home, as well as for her activism on behalf of immigrants and her charitable work with underprivileged children in Mexico.
Hayek, who is now in her 50s and looks much different than she did when she was younger, but still every bit as attractive as she was when she was younger. Hayek is widely regarded as being one of the most beautiful actresses now working in Hollywood. The actress, who is now 56 years old, maintains an astounding level of physical fitness.
The audacious roles that Hayek played on screen transcended the manner that she presented herself to the paparazzi on several occasions during her career. Not only is Hayek a successful actress, but she is also regarded as a fashion icon and is known for setting her own trends.
Hayek’s breathtaking beauty and body, along with the fact that she is dressed by some of the most well-known luxury brands and clothing lines in the world, have made her a show-stopping force at red-carpet events and premieres.
It is for this reason that it has been of the utmost significance for her to preserve her attractiveness and young appearance at this stage in her life. The actress from “Magic Mike” revealed her ultimate skincare secret in a video interview with British GQ in February 2023. This made perfect sense given the fact that she continues to appear very lovely and a significant amount younger than her true age.

Many different forms of media agree that Hayek is one of the most attractive faces in the entertainment industry. In 1996, 2003, and 2008, persons magazine ranked her as one of the 50 most attractive persons in the world. She was even featured on those lists three times.
The fact that the actress in “Eternals” is already getting close to 60 years old would come as a surprise to many people. This is due to the fact that the celebrity has been able to keep their youthful appearance and stunning body throughout the course of their career.
In an interview with Vogue in 2015, Hayek broached the touchy subject of whether or not she had ever used Botox. She did not criticize anybody who choose to have the cosmetic surgery; nonetheless, she was certain that she would not participate in the operation herself. She went on to Explain:
“Listen, I try not to use the word never. Have I been successful? No, and I repeat, no. And I’m going to explain why: It’s just a matter of logic…. When you exercise, your body receives a boost in oxygenation and circulation, which helps quickly refresh your body… If you destroy the muscle or paralyze it to the point that your face is immobile, this will have an effect on all of the other (muscles) in the surrounding area. Therefore, you should consider getting (Botox), but put it off for as long as you possibly can since it will cause you to age more quickly. You’re going to look better (in the short term), but you have to keep doing more and more and more, and eventually, your entire face is going to start coming apart!”
She said that even when she isn’t working, she puts on a little amount of makeup to appear presentable.
“When I go out during the day, the only makeup I wear is a little dusting of foundation and a dab of lipstick on each cheek. According to what she told The New York Times, “of course I have to get all dolled up for work and for press.”
The celebrity is working hard to preserve her natural beauty while still accepting the natural process of aging. She acknowledged that she had gray hair but said that it doesn’t affect her in the least.
In addition to avoiding the use of aesthetic improvements, Hayek has shown interest in sampling just a certain kind of cuisine.
“No one is going to benefit from the guidance I provide. She said, “I eat too much of the wrong things, and then I put myself on a diet.”
On the other hand, in 2017, the actress disclosed to The New York Times that despite her best efforts, she was unable to give up eating meat and that she eventually decided against adopting a vegetarian diet.
In spite of this obstacle, Hayek has not wavered in her commitment to maintaining the healthiest possible condition for her skin. In a video that she gave to British GQ Magazine in February 2023, the Academy Award–winning actress discussed her skincare regimen.
In response to queries sent to her on Twitter, Hayek was praised for how wonderful she looked despite being in her 50s and asked about her beauty regimen.
“What? “I’m 41!” she laughed out loud.
“I should never wash my face first thing in the morning, my grandmother instilled in me,” Guys, don’t be grossed off by that. During the night, your skin is able to create all of the oils that it need in order to maintain its young appearance. It is able to renew. Therefore, it is important to thoroughly cleanse your skin before bed, but you should avoid doing so first thing in the morning.
Hayek has already provided advice to the effect that one should avoid washing their face first thing in the morning on many occasions.
“When I get up in the morning, I don’t use soap or a cleanser to wash my face. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she said that her skincare routine consists of dotting on some rose water, followed by moisturizer, and that she never uses sunscreen unless she is going to be exposed to the sun.
Dr. Orit Markowitz, creator of OptiSkin and a board-certified dermatologist, recommends that people avoid using a cleanser on their faces in the morning if they scrubbed their faces at night.
“If you go right to bed after washing your face, it is not coming into contact with anything that really needs to be washed off,” she told Byrdie. “It is not coming into contact with anything that really needs to be washed off.”
When Hayek was a guest on Kelly Ripa’s podcast, “Let’s Talk Off Camera” in the month of July 2023, she discussed her beauty routine in further depth, and she brought up the topic of Botox once again over the course of the conversation. In response to the direct question of whether or not she has ever had the cosmetic operation, Hayek unequivocally stated:
“Don’t get Botox!”
Instead, the actress who played Elvira in “Desperado” said that she follows more zen practices in order to maintain herself looking and feeling young.
“Because of a lot of things going on in my body and the struggles I’ve had with my health, I’ve created this bizarre kind of meditation that I’m always tweaking. “Because you don’t feel the time passing and it’s just so much fun to do, I can do it for hours without getting bored,” she added.
She also said that she is aware of the difference when she does not do it.
“Guess what happens when I go a while without (practicing meditation)? Not only does the face start to drop, but everything else does as well, and this brings back my herniated disc, the trouble in my neck, the problem in my hip, and my ankles. “I start crying,” she observed as she began to lose it.
Her husband, the millionaire business mogul Francois-Henri Pinault, is not as persuaded about the benefits of the activity, despite the fact that Hayek may be a staunch supporter of it. “It’s not anything that my spouse believes in. But when things are at their worst, he’ll ask something like, “Have you been practicing your yoga?” She went on to say that he wouldn’t even refer to it by that name.
Hayek also disclosed that she had some strange products in her beauty kit, such as an ingredient called Tepezcohuite that “completely regenerates the skin.” Tepezcohuite is used in Mexico for burn sufferers. Hayek also favors the use of machines that emit radio frequency and micro-frequency waves, and he stated:
“The frequency machines operate on me better than they do on anybody else, and I use them rather often. And simply the meditation itself… sometimes while I’m doing it, people tell me when I walk out of the room, “Oh my God, again, you look like you are 20 years old.”
