After rescuing a lady who was being sexually harassed and kept prisoner by her husband, a UPS driver from Missouri is being hailed as a hero for his actions. Because he was so quick on his feet, the authorities were able to locate her without incident.
When he was on one of his regularly planned travels, the truck pulled over at a house in Franklin County, which is located in the countryside just west of St. Louis. This is where everything began. She was able to write “call 911” on the box that the package was sent to when it was delivered to the lady in the town of Robertsville.

It was found that James Tyler Jordan, who is 33 years old, was holding his wife hostage inside the home and making threats to kill both himself and his wife along with her. According to the documents that were filed in court, Jordan’s wife said that he sexually assaulted her, punched and slapped her, forced her to strip, and refused to let her leave the home. He threatened to kill her and then threatened to kill himself after that. He held a gun to her head and threatened to kill her.
There was also a child who was three years old, and the child had been held captive in a bedroom for fifteen hours without being allowed to consume any food or water.
When the driver came at the home, Jordan stood behind his wife with a handgun in his hand and forced her to talk to him even though he was standing behind her. During the process of signing for the package, the lady was able to scrawl “call 911” on the envelope. When the driver got back to his vehicle, he immediately called the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, and at that moment, a Special Weapons and Tactics team came to take Jordan into custody.

Sergeant T.J. Wild of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department observed that the driver was of great assistance to the department.
