One year after the terrible loss of Sinéad O’Connor, the reason of loss has been disclosed. According to sources, her loss certificate lists various respiratory difficulties as the cause of loss.
According to the Irish Independent website The chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) that O’Connor suffered from, which was made worse by bronchial asthma, ultimately led to her loss. In addition to that, she had been suffering from an infection of the respiratory system, which was a contributing cause.
Despite the fact that the British authorities confirmed in January that O’Connor had gone away due to natural causes and that there was no suspicion of any foul play, we did not know the actual cause of loss until this week.
As we have already informed you, Sinéad was discovered unconscious at her residence in Southeast London in the previous year. There were attempts made to bring her back to life, but it was already too late.
Over the course of many years, O’Connor struggled with mental health concerns, and she disclosed to Dr. Phil that she had attempted to end her own life at least eight times. At the beginning of 2022, her son Shane, who was 17 years old at the time, took his own life. Sinéad tweeted that she had “Been living as an undead night creature since.”
However, it seems that her mental health did not play any part in the final outcome of her loss.
During the weeks that followed the controversial singer’s passing, a number of celebrities, such as Conor McGregor, Pink, and Brandi Carlile, paid homage to her. 56 was her age.
