He will soon be in Paris to show his support for Simone Biles as she competes in the Olympics, but for the time being, Jonathan Owens is happily cheering her on from the comfort of his own home.

In order to see Biles participate in the gymnastics qualifying round on Sunday, July 28, at Bercy Arena in Paris, the NFL star, who is 29 years old, was glued to his television. Owens, a safety for the Chicago Bears, was able to arrange time off from the team’s mandatory training camp in order to witness the four-time Olympic gold winner play at the 2024 Games; however, he will not be allowed to depart until July 29.

As an alternative, he stayed in Chicago and watched as Biles, who is 27 years old, overcame a calf injury to triumph on the vault, beam, bars, and floor exercise programs. There is still one more round of qualifiers that she has to do, but she is presently in first place in the all-around rankings.

There were other films that Owens uploaded to his Instagram Stories while he was watching Biles. The first of these videos was a video in which he stated, “We locked in 💙” as the introduction was playing.

And then, when the great gymnast seemed to be untouchable on the balancing beam, Owens uploaded a video to his Instagram account and captioned it, “Flawless 🔥💙.”

The morning of Biles took an unexpected turn when she looked to tweak her calf while warming up for the floor exercise. She momentarily left the competition floor to consult with the doctor who is in charge of Team USA gymnastics medical personnel. Following her comeback, she had her ankle bandaged up, but she did not exhibit any symptoms of discomfort when doing her floor routine before going on to the vault.

“Let’s gooooooo!!!!!” A video of Owens doing a powerful vault was posted with a video of Snoop Dogg wearing a Simone t-shirt. Owens penned the caption. After that, he continued by saying, “No words 🙏🏾.”

A snapshot of Biles following her uneven bars exercise, which earned her the first place slot, was included in his final article. The words “Let’s go baby” were written on the back of the screenshot.

Owens, who had previously played for the Green Bay Packers, said the previous week that he had collaborated with the Bears in order to get a time off in order to see Biles compete once he signed his subsequent deal.

It was claimed by Yahoo! Sports that he made the statement after practice on July 25. “Obviously, the Olympics were coming up, and you know who my wife is,” he remarked. All of it was done with respect. We went to them and presented them with the request, “We would be extremely grateful if he could go to support his wife.”

I can’t wait to be able to provide her support,” he concluded. “I can’t wait.” “Man, it’s the person you love the most, and you see them out there in a situation where someone may be harmed, and you care about doing something about it. The only thing I’m doing right now is holding my breath, and I have my small piece of paper right there, ready to calculate everything. I can’t wait.

Owens continued by saying, “It is always extremely nerve-wracking.”
