Kaley Cuoco, who co-starred with Newhart on The Big Bang Theory, posted a tribute to the late comedian on her Instagram Story. Newhart had featured on six episodes of the show, which earned him his first Emmy in 2013 for guest performance.

Director Judd Apatow took a trip down memory lane by reminiscing his wonderful experience with Newhart. He also shared a link to his short documentary for The New Yorker, which was titled Bob and Don: A Love Story and focused on Newhart and the late Don Rickles.
