Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are considered to be one of the most adorable couples in the entertainment business. On the set of the popular singing competition program “The Voice,” where they were both coaches, the two individuals first connected and immediately built a deep relationship, which later grew into romantic feelings for one another.
Shelton is a singer and songwriter who performs country music. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for the publication of a number of popular songs, some of which include “Austin,” “Some Beach,” and “God’s Country.” Additionally, People magazine honored him as “Sexiest Man Alive” in the year 2017. Pop singer and songwriter Gwen Stefani sprang to prominence in the 1990s as the main vocalist of the rock band No Doubt. Since then, she has produced a number of critically acclaimed solo albums, some of the most notable of which are “Love. Angel. Music. Baby.” and “This Is What the Truth Feels Like.” Stefani came to recognition as a singer and songwriter in the 1990s.
The pair tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at Shelton’s ranch in Oklahoma in 2021. The ceremony was overseen by none other than Carson Daly, the host of “The Voice.” Since that time, the pair has been living happily ever after, and they even make an appearance on stage together periodically.
However, despite the fact that Shelton is overjoyed to have made the transition to concentrating more on his family life, “The Voice” viewers are inconsolable since the successful coach quit the show after a staggering 23 seasons. Shelton was the only coach that served on every single season up to the 23rd and final season, which concluded in May 2023. This is despite the fact that most of the coaches switch jobs virtually every season.
And although it’s possible that viewers have taken the news to heart, it seems that the host of the program, Daly, has been the one who has been overcome with emotion. In July 2023, Daly shared a selfie of himself back on set for the 24th season of “The Voice,” and it is fair to say that he seemed to be utterly upset to be there without his country music friend.
Shelton provided some insight into his new life with his famous musician wife, Stefani, during an interview in 2022 with Entertainment Tonight. Stefani is a well-known musician. The country music musician who has won several awards said that while he enjoys his business, there are other things in his life that are more important to him than his job. In addition to that, one component of that job was the production of the television singing competition program “The Voice.”
“Listen, I have a passion for music, and I like ‘The Voice.’ “I love all the cool things I get to do with my job, but at this point in my life, Gwen and the kids take precedence over everything else, and it’s just a new phase of my life,” Shelton added.
Shelton stated that he never imagined that his life would take the extraordinary path that it has. Before he had met her, he did not have Stefani in the broad picture of what he envisioned his life to look like after it was all said and done.
Shelton has said that he enjoys his work tremendously, but he is now in a new period of his life that is very unlike than any other phase he has ever experienced. Now, he is a doting stepfather to Stefani’s three kids, Kingston Rossdale, Zuma Rossdale, and Apollo Rossdale, whom Stefani had with her first husband, Gavin Rossdale. Kingston is the oldest, Zuma is the middle, and Apollo is the youngest.
Shelton gave his supporters the assurance that despite the fact that he intended to slow down in the future, he will still be working on other projects in the future. Shelton, on the other hand, is certain that the next stage of his life will include something far more significant than himself. The singer said the following in an interview with People magazine:
“The only thing that I run the risk of if I walk away from my career at this time is having regrets that I’m missing out on some more important things in life,” I said. For the time being, they are our children. This has nothing to do with me anymore, nor will it ever again.
On May 23, 2023, Daly published a picture carousel that showcased the bond that he and Shelton had developed over the years as a result of working on “The Voice” together. The photos were taken over the years. In the photo’s caption, Daly wrote:
“Oh my, today is going to be so strange! There really is no other way to express it. Over the course of more than a dozen years, I have enjoyed sharing laughter and good times with other viewers while watching “The Cowboy” perform on “NBC’s The Voice.” Thank you buddy! You’ve worked hard, and now it’s time for you to relax in that huge red chair. Now let’s go prepare a drink! (Please bring some ice from your room to share with everyone, since I was never provided with any.) #OneMoreShow.”
“The Voice” was getting ready to start its 24th season, which would include returning coaches Niall Horan, John Legend, and Stefani, in addition to new coach Reba McEntire, who is a country music superstar. On the other hand, Daly couldn’t help but feel upset when he learned that his old buddy and fellow cowboy wouldn’t be appearing in the series anymore.
Daly moved to Instagram in order to upload a snapshot of himself in which he seemed to be in an unhappy state while working on the set of “The Voice” during the first season without Shelton. It was written that
“Today was the very first time I’ve ever shot an episode of @nbcthevoice without @blakeshelton. For 23 seasons, we followed the same routine of having our hair and makeup done together. I feel like I’m dealing with it quite well. It’s not a problem at all.”
Fans couldn’t help but feel the same way and thought back to all the fun they had seeing Shelton on the program during his time there. Someone responded, “Believe me all the fans feel the same,” and I couldn’t agree more. Someone someone said, “Ugh. It will never be all right! ”
One of Daly’s fans even offered him some guidance on how to go on with his life now that he no longer had his friend: “Get an emotional support cardboard cutout!
