Channing Tatum, Joey King’s former on-screen father, had a chance encounter with her.
She uploaded images of her recent visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where Fly Me to the Moon actor Tatum, who is 44 years old, was also there. The actress, who is 24 years old and has been in A Family Affair and Despicable Me 4, revealed the photos.
Eleven years after they had worked together on the set of White House Down in 2013, the former co-stars were seen backstage reunited, smiling and hugging each other.

King, who was just 14 years old at the time, said to Cosmopolitan in 2014 that her sisters were envious of her when she was given the opportunity to collaborate with Tatum on White House Down.
“I also loved the fact that I got to work with an actor that I admired so much, Channing Tatum,” she said at the time of her interview. Before I was hired, I went in for a screen test, and at that time, I had the opportunity to read with him. I was ecstatic because I had such a deep appreciation for his work. She continued by saying, “When I found out that I got the job, I was overjoyed because not only did I get to work with Channing and get to have a great part, but I also got to work with [director] Roland Emmerich, who is amazing.” She was referring to the action picture. During her most recent appearance on The Tonight Show, King referred to her co-stars in the film A Family Affair, Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron, as “so hot” and “the fittest people I’ve ever met.” Moreover, she remembered that she had been a fan of Efron, who is now 36 years old.
“I grew up with his face on everything I owned,” she said to me. I had to get every piece of merchandise that I could get my hands on. I was such a huge admirer, and he was just incredible. “He was so kind and considerate about it.”
You can see King’s A Family Affair on Netflix, and Despicable Me 4 is now playing in cinemas. On July 12, Tatum’s film Fly Me to the Moon will be released in cinemas.
