Sadly, Carol A. Bongiovi, the mother of Jon Bon Jovi, has passed away. Her age was 83.
Individuals have confirmed that Carol passed away on Tuesday, July 9, at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Her passing occurred three days before her 84th birthday.

Carol was a businesswoman who ran a number of enterprises in addition to being the creator of the fan club for the band that bore her son’s name. While serving her nation with distinction, she also had the opportunity to meet John Bongiovi, Sr., who would later become her husband.

Carol is survived by her husband of 63 years, their three sons and daughters-in-law: Dorothea and Jon Bon Jovi, Anthony and Nina Yang Bongiovi, and Matthew and Desiree Bongiovi, as well as her eight devoted grandchildren. She was married to Jon Bon Jovi for 63 years.
