Even after reaching the age of one hundred, these individuals continue to have pleasure in their lives, demonstrating that age is irrelevant to them. One common belief is that creative individuals have a long and fruitful life, but it is also a short one. On the other hand, the individuals described in this article unequivocally demonstrate that the reverse is true.
When Bright Side interviewed the oldest actors and actresses who are still alive and hopeful, they learned the secrets of longevity from those individuals.
1. Diana Serra Cary, 100 years old

During the time period of silent films, this actress had a strong reputation. Under the moniker Baby Peggy, she was known to the public. It was in 1925 that the girl’s career came to an end as a result of the disagreement that occurred between her father and her producer. At that point in time, her parents had already spent all of her money and had not put any money aside for her schooling. In 1938, the actress decided to give up her profession in order to devote her time to authoring books and growing her family.
“I manage to maintain my health by adhering to a well-balanced diet. You may find a stunning library at the home that I own. 2. Ruth Anderson, who is one hundred years old

In the beginning of her career, Ruth Dusty Anderson was a pin-up model. Later on, she began an acting career and began appearing in films. In 1951, she made the decision to devote all of her time to her family and her husband, Jean Negulesco, who was a well-known director and playwright. She had accomplished seven films before calling it quits and retiring from the film industry. The family relocated to the southern region of Spain, where Dusty resided for the whole of her life, up to the passing of her husband in 1993. Over the last several years, the actress has made it a point to avoid the spotlight and to keep the specifics of her private life a secret from the general public.
3. Suzy Delair, 101 years old

The career of this well-known French singer and actress, who had performed in more than thirty films, came to an end in the year 1976. At the present time, Susy is in a nursing facility in Paris, she is in excellent physical condition, and she continues to receive letters from her countless admirers.

5. Julie Gibson, 105 years old

This American actress celebrated her 105th birthday on September 6th, making her the oldest actress in the world who has ever lived. Gibson did not have any children throughout her whole life since she was employed in the film and radio production industries continuously. In 1984, Julie retired after having worked on 27 films. Because she is so secretive, there is not a lot of information available about the actress at the present time.
