The name of the newborn girl that Lady Kitty Spencer, the niece of Princess Diana, has announced has been revealed.
Earl Spencer’s oldest daughter, who is 33 years old, made the announcement in March that she had discreetly given birth to her first child with her husband, Michael Lewis, who is 65 years old.
In spite of the fact that Kitty did not disclose the gender of her child in the post she made for Mother’s Day, her younger sister Lady Eliza waxed ecstatic over her “perfect little niece” in the comments section.
On July 24, 2021, Lady Kitty, who was thirty years old at the time, tied the knot with Michael Lewis, who was a multimillionaire, at the Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati, which was a breathtaking rural home with views out towards Rome.
The festivities occurred over the course of three days and were attended by intimate friends, including the pop artist Pixie Lott and the Marchioness of Bath. The couple had postponed their wedding for two years owing to the epidemic, and the celebrations lasted for three days.
Over the course of the weekend, the bride, who is a Global Brand Ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana, donned five dresses designed by the particular designer.
Kitty chose to wear a white lace gown with a high neckline, a Victorian-inspired silhouette, and feminine puff sleeves and a belted waist for her primary wedding dress. Her mother Victoria Lockwood’s wedding dress, which included a button-down front, served as a source of inspiration for the design.
Kitty’s wedding attire was subsequently described by Domenico Dolce, the designer and co-founder of the fashion brand, as follows: “She told us she had thought of us immediately, and we were very happy with that!”
“These have been moments that have been both beautiful and emotional,” added Dolce. It is certain that her affection for Italy is one of the sources of inspiration. Kitty has fallen in love with our stunning nation and all of its illustrious past, magnificent art, and vibrant culture.
According to Stefano Gabbana, “But she is also a girl who is very attached to her origins, to England; to her heritage of the great Victorian era.” Her lineage is rooted in England. And just like any other English person, she has a deep love for an extensive variety of floral arrangements.
Unfortunately, the renowned Spencer Tiara that Princess Diana wore during the wedding was not present. Rather than that, Kitty chose to accessorize with flower crowns, complex headpieces, and a sophisticated veil, all of which were designed to compliment the outfits she wore.
While standing between flowery arches, the pair exchanged their vows. A pianist and a vocalist were positioned to the right of the newlyweds, and they were the ones who supplied the music.
In addition to the fact that Mr. Lewis wore a kippah, it is believed that Lady Kitty was prepared for the ceremony by receiving training in the Jewish religion.
The newlyweds, who were beaming with happiness, made their way back down the aisle hand in hand as the guests threw confetti covered in pastel colors into the air.
During the evening, the festivities continued with dancing and a live band, and the night came to a close with a stunning fireworks show.
A mutual acquaintance introduced the business magnate to the model in 2018, and the two of them went on to be married in a lavish Italian wedding ceremony three years later. The model’s beauty drew the attention of the business magnate.
However, before to meeting her prince charming, Lady Kitty established a reputation for herself in the fashion industry by working as a spokesmodel for Dolce & Gabbana. The design house provided her with five outfits for her wedding and gave her the opportunity to walk in various Fashion Weeks all over the world.
While all is going on, Michael is also well-versed in the world of fashion. He is the chairman of the Foschini Group, which is the owner of the British high street shops Whistles and Phase Eight.
With a mansion in London valued at £19 million and another home in his native South Africa, where his wife grew up when her husband, Charles, the 9th Earl Spencer, and his first wife, Victoria Lockwood, split, the businessman is estimated to have a net worth of £80 million.
