A new member has been added to Jennifer Gates’ family!
With the announcement that she is having her second child with her husband Nayel Nassar, the daughter of millionaire Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates, who is 28 years old, has revealed that she is pregnant.
On Thursday, the expectant mother announced the news on Instagram by posting a picture of herself supporting her growing baby belly while wearing a blue outfit. In the picture, her daughter Leila, who is 16 months old, is clutching one of her hands.
With a message that read “Leila, being promoted to big sister 💕,” she took the shot.
During the month of April, Jennifer was able to spend some quality time with her daughter by participating in one of the activities that she, as a soon-to-be mother of two, finds most enjoyable.
While she was being held up at an equestrian event, Leila could be seen gazing at the horses in the enclosure and their riders in the candid snapshot that she uploaded on her Instagram Story. The photo was taken during the event. It seemed as if the little girl, who was dressed in a green sundress and a pink flower perched in her hair, diverted her gaze from the horses for a short minute in order to glance at the camera.
The caption that Jennifer added over the picture said, “Leila is currently checking out the itty bitty jumper division.”
In February, Jennifer and Nassar celebrated their daughter’s first birthday by posting a heartfelt selfie together on Instagram. Jennifer, who had just recently finished from medical school and is planning to work as a doctor in New York City, is excited about this new chapter in her life.
Together with photographs of Leila spending time at home with their dogs and playing with various toys, the couple reminisced on the progress that Leila had made over the course of the previous year.
It is hard to think that this girl became a parent to us exactly one year ago today. Because of your boundless laughter, insatiable curiosity, and undying love for all things animal, Leila, you have given an unimaginable amount of pleasure to our world. Jennifer penned the text for the photo.
