Brittany Mahomes has a message for those who are critical of the Chiefs. After her husband Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs celebrated their victory in the AFC Championship on Sunday, the owner of KC Current, who is 28 years old, turned to social media to respond to those who were critical of her.
A snapshot of Brittany and Patrick from the post-game celebration was first uploaded on Patrick’s account, then Brittany shared the photo with her followers in an Instagram story. She wrote, “We went there that day.” And we prevailed. Is there anything more that anybody should say? accompanied with an emoji of a happy face.
Brittany, who is a mother of two and shares custody of her daughter Sterling Skye and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes with Patrick, added, “See y’all in Vegas,” therefore reminding the online trolls that her husband will be competing in his fourth Super Bowl in the last six years as the quarterback for Kansas City.
Brittany said in her following article, “Just so incredibly proud of this guy,” above a picture of her and Patrick enjoying the Chiefs’ forthcoming presence in the Super Bowl on Sunday. Brittany emphasized her enormous delight in Patrick.
Being the wife of one of the most prominent players in the National Football League, Brittany is no new to the presence of social media trolls and has previously handled abuse. In December, she took to social media to call out those who she deemed to be “rude” after seeing an uptick in the number of comments that were malicious throughout the NFL season.
Brittany said that she is no longer bothered by the unfavorable attention that she received during a question and answer session in the month of August. In response to a follower who inquired about whether or not she is affected by bad remarks, she responded, “Yes, it used to be.” However, this is no longer the case. An emoji of a peace sign was added to the sentence, which read, “I could give two s—s about people’s opinion of me who don’t even know me.”
Brittany recognized the difficulties that have arisen as a result of Patrick’s frequent absences, but she highlighted that they are grateful for the effort that he has put up. According to her, “It is not easy, but it is what it is.” The more you do something, the more you learn and adapt to it! He puts in a lot of effort throughout the day, and we are really grateful for everything he does for our family.
In March, the pair will commemorate the year that marks the second anniversary of their wedding. The engagement between Brittany and Patrick took place in September of 2020, and the couple eventually tied the knot in Hawaii in 2022 in Hawaii. When they were both students at Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas, they had their first encounter.
