A former co-star of Meghan Markle has said that he had a covert encounter with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. This revelation comes after members of the Suits cast stated that they had lost the ability to communicate with the royal family.

Wendell Pierce, who portrayed the role of Meghan’s father in the television series Suits, said that he is still in communication with the Duchess of Sussex during the 2024 Tony Awards, which were held in New York.

In an interview with People magazine, the celebrity, who has been nominated for many Tony Awards and won one in 2012, detailed the circumstances surrounding his encounter with the royal couple in the previous year.

In an interview with the newspaper, he said, “When Meghan came into town, she had the opportunity to say hello and wish her and Prince Harry well as well as the children well.” Meghan had received an award the previous year he said.

“They appear to be very much in love with one another and the fact that they were very happy is the most important thing.”

Although Wendell did not specify when he met up with Meghan and Harry, it is known that the pair was in New York in May of 2023 to collect the ‘Women of Vision’ award that was presented to them by the Duchess of Cambridge.

During an interview with E! News in April, Wendell disclosed the following information on his most recent encounter with the couple: “It was great to see them because there’s this public persona, and then it’s the two that I know.”

The statements made by Wendell came after a number of Meghan’s other co-stars have said that they “no longer have her number.”

On the red carpet at the Golden Globes in January, Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, Patrick J. Adams, and Gina Torres were seen together again, which sparked rumors that the show might be starting again.

When asked whether any of them had attempted to get in touch with Meghan, Gina, who portrayed Jessica Pearson, said that they did not have a direct method of getting in touch with the Duchess of Sussex anymore.

Who sent Meghan a text message saying, “you’ve got to come to the Golden Globes, Meghan Markle?” was the question that was posed by an interviewer.

As a response, Gina said, “We do not have her number.” Simply put, we do not believe that. She is going to see. She will keep an eye on it. The fact that we are here will make her pleased.

It was claimed at the time that Meghan was unable to attend the awards event because she had a “previous commitment.”

A number of Meghan Markle’s co-stars, including Patrick J. Adams, Gina Torres, and Sarah Rafferty, were invited to attend her fairytale wedding to Prince Harry in Windsor in May of 2018. The bridal ceremony was attended by A-list celebrities and members of the royal family. Wendell Pierce had earlier said that he was ‘unable’ to attend the event, despite the fact that he had been invited.

During an interview with E! News in April, Wendell disclosed the guidance that he provided to Meghan after she left the series in order to go to the United Kingdom.

When Wendell recalled their final day working together on set, he shared his thoughts as follows: “I told Meghan, your life is going to be a whirlwind. It’s going to be like you’re living in a bubble.

“I just want you to keep in mind that no matter what happens, you will always have friends no matter what.” Furthermore, I hope that you include myself in that number.

When the planet was in the ‘throes of death’ in March 2021, Wendell criticized Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for doing an interview to Oprah Winfrey in which they revealed everything about themselves at that time.

He said on the radio station LBC that “today, 3,000 people are going to die in the United States of America due to COVID.” In the United Kingdom, even at this hour, there are likely to be a few hundred individuals who pass away.

Additional remarks were made by Wendell, who said, “It was pretty disrespectful and insulting that we are all involved in this kind of palace….. In the middle of so many deaths, chatter is going on. I do not believe that it is important.

“Everyone,” he added in response to the question of who he included in this attack, which included Oprah, the United States network CBS, ITV, Prince Harry and Meghan, and the Palace.
