Despite the fact that I am not a musician myself, I participated in piano classes when I was younger. This was the first time that I had the opportunity to play in front of a live audience. Even though there were just a few people in the audience, the most of them being the families of my classmates, it was still a really nerve-wracking experience. Though I was fortunate enough to make it through the recital without any significant errors, the experience opened my eyes to the fact that I was not cut out to be a live entertainment performer.

Nevertheless, there are those who get their kicks from performing in front of an audience, and for them, rising to the forefront of the limelight is like a dream come true. One of the most prestigious opportunities available in the world of country music is to be invited to sing at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

For Josh Turner, a modern country musician, the moment he stood on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry was a moment of unprecedented significance. It was during his performance that he astonished everyone by allowing his wife’s grandmother, Lois Cunningham, who was 98 years old, to join him on stage for her first performance. Lois gave a stunning performance of “How Great Thou Art,” which earned her a standing ovation from the crowd at the end of the performance.

This sweet and touching event, which was recorded on camera, serves as a reminder that dreams may come true at any age. Watch the heartfelt performance that is provided below, and then show it to the people you care about.
