Wednesday was the day when Heather Locklear sent a touching message on Instagram in which she paid respect to her late father, Bill Locklear.
Bill Locklear, Heather Locklear’s father, passed away recently, and she is now in a state of bereavement. He was 94 years old.
An emotional message of love and thanks was posted by the actress on Instagram on Wednesday, along with a photograph of her father that she had posted on the platform.
With the description “The most brilliant man I have ever known,” Heather, who is 62 years old, referred to the memorial post. “The bar is oh so high.”
The former cast member of Melrose Place concluded her statement by saying, “The love of my life was…” Very few people are proud. You are awesome, dad. R.I.P.
According to a source who spoke with People, Heather’s father was admitted to the hospital in February to get treatment for his deteriorating condition.
The last time the actress wrote about her father on Instagram was in July 2019, when she celebrated her father’s milestone 90th birthday with a heartfelt post that reflected on the significance of the event.
“Happy 90th Birthday to my hero,” Heather captioned the image on her Instagram account.

A few months after it was revealed that Heather will be starring in a revival of one of her most memorable series, the unfortunate news comes only a few months after that announcement.
In April, Entertainment Tonight (ET) discovered that CBS Studios is now working on a Melrose Place relaunch. The reboot will include Heather, Laura Leighton, and Daphne Zuniga reprising their famous roles from the original television series. In addition, Zuniga will resume her role as Jo Reynolds, while Heather will return to the part of Amanda Woodward. Leighton will also return to the character of Sydney Andrews.
Darren Star is the creator of the project, which is now in the process of being developed. Lauren Gussis will be responsible for writing and executive producing the series.
