When Jelly Roll and Eminem collaborate, it’s like finding a delectable delicacy in your hands.

Following her performance of “Sing for the Moment” with the rapper at the Live From Detroit: The Concert at Michigan Central event on Thursday, June 6, the country singer gave an interview to Entertainment Tonight in which she discussed the “coolest moment ever” that she had experienced.

“When I think about coolest moments of my career, right now at the top, there has to be this thing that I got to go sing with Eminem in Detroit,” said Jelly, 39, in an interview with the publication. ‘Sing for the Moment’ is a song that he sampled Steven Tyler, and I had the opportunity to sing it with him. To put it simply, it was an absolutely wonderful evening, and I was able to experience it in Detroit. It was a dream come true.”

After receiving a message from Eminem’s staff, the vocalist of “Need a Favor” said, “I couldn’t believe it. I was under the impression that it was a joke until I really met Eminem.

Despite the fact that Jelly considered the manager of the rapper known for the song “Lose Yourself” to be a “friend,” he was nevertheless astonished by the incredible chance. “His name is Paul, and I was like, ‘Paul, don’t play.’ He was like, ‘I swear,'” Jelly recounted. “And as soon as I met Eminem, it was like the coolest moment ever, man.”

In an interview with ET, Jelly described how he felt “giddy, like a child” on stage, indicating that the performance was a success and a highly thrilling occasion for him.

His daughter Hailie Jade, who is 28 years old, and her new husband Evan McClintock, together with Eminem’s other daughters Alaina Marie, who is 31 years old, and Stevie Laine, who is 22 years old, were there in the crowd to show their support for the “Stan” artist.

There were a number of other artists that performed at the event, including Diana Ross, Big Sean, Jack White, Common, Fantasia, the Clark Sisters, Kierra Sheard, Illa J, Melissa Etheridge, Theo Parrish, Slum Village, and Sky Jetta.
