Fans are being reminded by Kevin Jonas to get checked out after he has been diagnosed with skin cancer.
It has come to light that Kevin Jonas just undergone a surgical surgery to remove a malignant lesion that was located on his face.

Basal cell carcinoma, a common kind of skin cancer, was found to be developing on the right side of the band member’s forehead, according to a post that he made on Instagram on Tuesday. The band member, who is 36 years old, revealed this information after undergoing a skincare examination not too long ago.

Using his power to raise awareness about the problem, the singer and guitarist posted a picture of the before and after while he was in the doctor’s office. He also demonstrated the difference between the two.

“So today, I am getting a basal-cell carcinoma removed from my head,” Jonas says in the video, displaying a little mole that is located close to his hairline. “Yes, that is an actual little skin cancer guy that has started to grow and now I have to get surgery to remove it.”

Jonas, who is getting ready for the launch of the third season of Claim to Fame on ABC in July, moves forward in the film to the post-procedure portion of the movie. He makes careful to omit any of the gruesome pictures that are associated with the surgery, and he also emphasizes how fast and easy the whole process was.

The presenter of Claim to Fame informs his 4.9 million fans on social media, “Alright, I’m all done, now it’s time to heal,” in the message that he made. “Make sure to get those moles checked, people.”

In the caption of the photo, he gave a reiteration of his message by stating, “A friendly reminder to get your moles checked 🙏.”

According to the Cleveland Clinic, basal cell carcinoma is a prevalent kind of skin cancer that is often brought on by prolonged exposure to the sun. This type of cancer generally manifests itself as a lump or lesion on the epidermis. In the United States, there are around 4 million new cases that are reported each year.

Christie Brinkley, a supermodel and actress, revealed to her fans on Instagram earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. The diagnosis was confirmed by physicians when she was attending an appointment for her daughter.

I am relieved to report that we were able to detect the basal cell carcinoma at an early stage. In the caption, Brinkley, who is 70 years old, said, “And I had great doctors that removed the cancer and stitched me up to perfection like a haute couture Dior.” The remark was placed beside photographs of her left temple, which had a piece taken from it.

Hugh Jackman, who is known for his accomplishments in the film, television, and stage industries, advised his fans to use sunscreen after he had yet another operation for basal cell carcinoma in the previous year. Jackman, who is now 55 years old, has historically had treatment for basal cell carcinoma, and he has had at least six removals performed throughout the course of his life.

In the event that I may use this occasion to warn you that summer is approaching for those of us who live in the northern hemisphere, I would ask that you kindly apply sunscreen. It is just not worth the effort. You can put your faith in me, no matter how much you want a tan,” the actor who played Wolverine and Deadpool wrote at the time. Be sure to apply some sunscreen. There is no doubt that you will have a fantastic time out there. Okay, let’s go. Take care to be safe.

Khloé Kardashian, Diane Keaton, Witney Carson, Teddi Mellencamp, and Andy Cohen are just some of the famous people who have been diagnosed with skin cancer at some time in their life, as stated by the Skin Cancer Foundation.
