The loss of Grayson Murray is believed to have been caused by carbon monoxide poisoning, according to the Daily Mail.
The golfer’s condo in Palm Beach Gardens was apparently flooded with fumes from his Land Rover, which was left running in the garage on the bottom level, as stated by the publication. At 10:49 a.m. on May 25, a neighbor heard the carbon monoxide alarm go off, which prompted the police to be summoned to the residence that he lived with his fiancee Christina Ritchie.
Sunday, May 26, was the day when the athlete’s parents disclosed the reason for his passing, as was previously reported by OK!
Over the course of the last twenty-four hours, we have been attempting to come to grips with the reality that our son has passed away. Not only do we have to confess it to ourselves, but we also have to acknowledge it to the rest of the world. This seems to be an unreal situation. In a message that was shared on social media, Eric and Terry Murray said that the situation was worse than a nightmare.

“There are a great number of questions that do not have any answers. But there is one. Did Grayson have a lover? It is correct to say that. Not just by us, but also by his brother Cameron, his sister Erica, all of his extended family members, his friends, his fellow players, and — it appears — by a significant number of you who are reading this. A lot of people liked him, and he will be missed,” they went on to say. Regarding the outpouring of support, we would like to express our gratitude to the PGA Tour as well as the whole golfing community. Grayson’s life was not always easy, and despite the fact that he took his own life, we are certain that he is now having a peaceful rest. While we are working through this terrible loss, we ask that you respect our privacy and that you commemorate Grayson by being nice to one another. We would not be able to ask for much more if that were to become his legacy. I am grateful to you.”
Jay Monahan, the commissioner of the PGA Tour, was the one who first delivered the news via email.
Grayson Murray, a golfer on the PGA Tour, went unexpectedly this morning, and we are sad to share the news with you. We were grieved to learn of his passing. “I am at a loss for words,” Monahan said of the athlete, who had lately withdrawn from the Colonial Country Club competition. “I hope you are doing well.” “When you lose a member of your family, you are never the same. The PGA Tour is a family, and when you lose a member of your family?” Our condolences go out to Grayson’s family and friends, to whom we pray for consolation.
“I called out to Grayson’s parents to express our most sincere sympathies, and as we were having that chat, they requested that we proceed with the tournament play. There was a resolute belief that Grayson would want us to act in this manner. Monahan came to the conclusion that “we want to respect their wishes, despite the fact that it will be difficult.”
