Because Bradley Cooper walked onstage to play a smash song from his 2018 movie with a rock icon, he is demonstrating that the star was not only born, but that he is alive and kicking.

Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam joined the actor in a performance of the song “Maybe It’s Time” from the film “A Star Is Born” on Friday night at the BottleRock musical event in Napa Valley. The actor put on his singing cap and sang the song.

Check out the footage … it’s a fairly personal moment for such a large concert experience — with Eddie and Brad seated in seats as Vedder plays on an acoustic guitar.

In case you were unaware, BC and EV have been friends for many years, and Vedder was actually a potential source of inspiration for Cooper’s character in the film “Star Is Born.” Bradley said in an interview that he had spent numerous days with Vedder and asked him a great deal of questions in order to refine his character. The discussion took place during the press tour for the movie.

To add insult to injury, Cooper also made an appearance on stage at the conclusion of the show to perform Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World” — that’s right, you get two Bradley tunes for the price of one!

This was not all work and no play for Bradley, however, since he was able to spend some quality time with his lady love, Gigi Hadid, laughing and dancing as Stevie Nicks was performing.

It seems as if Gigi was attempting to maintain a low profile by wearing the hat and spectacles; however, Bradley is very out there and is not concealing himself in any way. In any case, we guess there is no use in going undercover when you are going to be playing with the band later on.

For your information, Cameron Diaz and Tommy Lee are both said to be heading out for the weekend, and Bradley even had the opportunity to share the stage with Steph Curry, who is a great player for the Golden State Warriors. BottleRock is an event that brings out the best and brightest of the A-List. Talk about a star-studded cast!

Ed Sheeran, Queens of the Stone Age, Dominic Fike, The Offspring, Norah Jones, and Stephen Marley are among the artists who are prepared to perform on the last day of the BottleRock festival, which begins on Sunday.

There is nothing “shallow” about the lineup; if anything, it is really profound!!!
