The reason for Garrison Brown’s loss has been established, and he was a star on Sister Wives.
It was verified by the Coconino County Medical Examiner in an autopsy report that was acquired by PEOPLE on May 15 that the 25-year-old individual had passed away as a result of a gunshot wound delivered to the head. It was determined that he intended to take his own life.
According to the investigation, ethanol intoxication, sometimes frequently referred to as alcohol poisoning, was one of the factors that contributed to his loss. Garrison’s blood alcohol level was determined to be.307% based on his iliac blood analysis and.370% based on his vitreous analysis, as stated in the autopsy report by the medical examiner. (In the United States, the legal limit is 0.8 percent, and anything farther than 0.4 percent is deemed to be potentially lethal.)
Additionally, there were traces of caffeine present in Garrison’s system at the time of his last moments.
It was on March 5 when the body of Garrison Brown, who was the son of Janelle and Kody Brown, was discovered inside of his residence in Flagstaff, Arizona.

PEOPLE was informed by the Flagstaff Police Department that they had reacted to a complaint of a “loss inside a home” and that his brother Gabriel, who was 22 years old at the time, had “discovered Mr. Brown deceased” in what seemed to be a suicide.
Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II of the Flagstaff Police Department followed his statement by saying, “At this time, there is no indication of foul play, and Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating.” This statement was shared with PEOPLE.
Almost immediately after the news broke, Janelle issued a statement on Instagram in which she confirmed the passing of her baby.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” she captioned a sequence of photographs of her son. “He was a wonderful person.” In the lives of everyone who knew him, he was a shining example of positivity. The absence of him will create such a significant void in our lives that it will cause us to lose our breath. It is our request that you kindly respect our right to privacy and join us in paying tribute to his memory. (In addition, Kody published the same remark on his personal Instagram photo account.)
In 2010, Garrison was shown to the public for the first time with his numerous siblings, his mother Janelle, and his father Kody’s other wives, Meri, Christine, and Robyn Brown, in the TLC series that documented the day-to-day activities of the polygamist family.
Madison, Logan, Garrison, Gabriel, Hunter, and Savanah were the six children that Janelle and Kody went on to produce after going through the process of spiritually marrying one other in 1993. Janelle made the announcement that she and Kody had ended their relationship in December of 2022.
Following Christine’s announcement that she had parted ways with Kody, she became the second matriarch of the Brown family to depart. Almost immediately after Janelle made her declaration, Meri disclosed that she and Kody had also separated, leaving Robyn as the only wife that the Brown patriarch still had.
