The Kentucky Derby is providing Dannielynn Birkhead and Larry Birkhead with an opportunity to spend some quality time together.
In preparation for the major race that will take place on Saturday, the father and daughter combination made a spectacular entrance on Friday, May 3, to attend several activities.
“We are currently on our way to Barnstable-Brown Gala for the beginning of the Kentucky Derby weekend,” Larry, who is 51 years old, captioned a carousel of photographs on Instagram that included both himself and Dannielynn, who is 17 years old.
In the first picture, the two were seen smiling for the camera while sitting next to one other and sharing a seat simultaneously. A gray suit paired with a black tie was worn by the photographer, while his daughter chose to make use of an all-black ensemble that had been worn by Janet Jackson in the past.
He tweeted on her dress, “Dannielynn is wearing her second @janetjackson outfit to the party that I got from Janet’s @juliens_auctions -charity auction,” referring to the fact that she was attending the party.
What Julien’s describes as a “Gianfranco Ferre black dress that is knee-length in the front and floor-length in the back and features zippers all around” is the clothing in question.
In conclusion, Birkhead expressed his excitement at the prospect of spending a wonderful Derby weekend with the just graduated high school student.
The daughter of Anna Nicole Smith, who passed away, maintains a life that is pretty secret during the whole year. from Dannielynn was three years old, she and Birkhead have made it a habit to go to the Kentucky Derby together every May. This is a tradition that they have maintained from the beginning of their relationship.
“Ahh, the derby when you happened to meet her mother!!! It’s wonderful that you’ve established it as a custom. Whoa, she is stunning! Both of you look terrific. All the best, Danni! 🥹💞,” a user expressed their sentiments in the comment section on Instagram.
During the Kentucky Derby in 2023, the young lady posed for photographs with her father, who donned a dress with a sunflower print made by Leo Lin. Her father wore attire that was coordinated with the same colors.
Aside from the fact that they go on father-daughter trips together every year, the two are also known to show support for one another via the use of social media.
During the month of January, while Birkhead was celebrating his birthday, he made a joke about how his daughter got “really bad pictures” of him.
“#1-3) A friend took us to dinner for my birthday, and Dannielynn continued her journey to take really bad pictures of me,” he began in the description of his Instagram post, which included photographs of himself and his daughter smiling over a meal.
As well as that, Birkhead lauded his daughter Dannielynn on the occasion of her birthday in September.

Birkhead proceeded to add, “Happy Birthday! ” before concluding his message. I adore my father. As a side note, when you asked me if you could spend the rest of your life in my basement, I said yes.
