Brian Cox is making a snide remark against organized religion, and more specifically Christianity. He is referring to the Bible as the worst book that has ever graced the history of humanity, in light of the fact that it has deceived a great number of people.
The actor from “Succession” participated in an interview with “The Starting Line Podcast,” during which they discussed a wide range of topics, including the actor’s introspective ideas on religion, God, spirituality, and other topics. According to Brian’s point of view, everything is a load of hogwash, and he is not buying any of it.

However, he believes that the reason why people are so adamantly opposed to it is because of the Bible and all of the myths that go all the way back to Adam and Eve. He believes that these stories enslave women to a place in society that is beneath them, and that these stories are ingrained in our subconscious minds today.
In this regard, BC describes the Bible as the most effective propaganda tool in the history of the world, while also claiming that it is the worst book ever written. In addition to this, he asserts that God does not exist and that religion is nothing more than a political tool.
It is safe to assume that the homeboy is an atheist, and he is not interested in all of the praying and evangelizing that is going on. From what I can tell, Brian is likewise of the opinion that people are being hampered by ancient scribbles.
Make sure you are prepared for the reaction, since the holy ones are not going to be pleased with this.
